I hate to shop, really despise the whole process but when I am in Wellesley this is one of two shops I go to for everything I need. The ladies who work here are phenomenal. They are polite, listen carefully and respond quickly without shadowing me or making me feel like a child. If something fits, they say so, if not, they bring me another size or style. They have a complete line of Lilly Pulitzer and impressive collection of other high-end brands for suburban living like Vineyard Vines and Pendleton. One more than one occasion I have walked in with a photo on my phone of an outfit I want and they either have it in stock or can get it while I am in town. Near or far for any occasion, even a wedding in Palm Springs, they just have that knack for finding what the customer needs. My only reason for not giving them five stars is that they don’t stock all that many sizes in shoes. I still have to special order direct from the manufacturer, 10.5N, but they do have a great selection of Jacks to choose from for normal feet, even childrens’ sizes. It’s a family tradition to go here and find outfits for life events, I am so happy the store is here and wish I had known about it sooner. When the location in Natick closed I thought it was gone for good, little did I know a few miles away there was another location still alive, well and thriving. Got a picky hubby with you — there’s a nice mens department upstairs and a coffee shop on the same block with delicious cupcakes and coffee.

It is cool that this store is still there. However it is not the same as it was in my youth 20 – 30 years ago. It was a department store with lots of craft items, material, cloth, yarn, etc. but now it is a high end clothing store. The only thing I recognized were the stairs and the old cash register. The name is the dame but this store has adapted with the times — for better or worse. If you are shopping for clothes(especially womans) it might be worth a visit. If you want nostalgia and to see the way it was years ago you will be disappointed.

All department stores could learn from this place. Customer service the way it ought to be! Great old fashioned store with wonderful employees that actually try to «help» you with your decisions or purchases. Amazing design department! A throw back from a better time, hope this place lasts forever.

This store is a Wellesley institution and a complete throw back to a time when customer service actually meant something. The merch is Lilly Pulitzer Vineyard Vines Barbour for the entire family. They also have an interior design dept. EA Davis is staffed by lovely ladies of a certain age who are happy to help even the most indecisive teen. It is a return to a more refined era of shopping and they have great sales. I hope it lasts forever.

A Wellesley institution. This place takes me back to the days of olé school department stores, and funky whale pants. A great place to find Lilly P, or cruise wear and uniquely Wellesley memorabilia.

Okay Okay Okay… yes this store is packed with ultra prepper socks, pants, ties, hats, handkerchief, shoes, bathing suits and key chains. Yes it has a full Lilly Pulitze section(the fact that I know what that is in itself gross). Yes it has a interior design section downstairs. Yes it is true you are not going to find anything but seersuckers and ultra cutesie brightly colored sun dress. With all that being said I love this store. The employees have always been extremely helpful and friendly. Just today I had an interaction with the owner/GM and it was phenomenal. It reminds me that we all should shop at smaller clothing stores Even if you are looking for a Barbour coat or penny loafers.
