Budget Blinds serving Greater Boston

Do not work with these folks– Carmine Annetti & Russell Libby of the Budget Blinds Serving Boston franchise,
, they are unprofessional, and apparently too busy to help get blinds installed.
This has been an awfully long drawn out process right from the beginning, which has yielded no shades and just a long delay.
Carmine was especially difficult to get in touch with, and was very short on the phone even when I was able to get a hold of him. Answering emails is not his strong point, you might as well not bother.
He delayed this project after finally getting out to my apartment to see the estimate, promised to call me back three times, and never did. Well he said, I’ve been so busy, but then with an accusatory tone he says, well you haven’t selected a color, that’s why I can’t tell you.
I said that was what we were going to talk next, and that discussion was supposed to happen two weeks ago when you promised to call me back, and then again three days ago when I called again, and then again last night all of the times promising to get back to me. He never did.
So how is it that your customer is supposed to select a color when he doesn’t know the prices or the different options, that is what an expert in blinds with measurements in hand is supposed to do.
Finally, when I asked him if he was too busy to take the job, then the real professionalism came in, suffice it to say I ended the discussions, three weeks later with no blinds to speak of. Onto the next place, Designs In Blinds in Waltham who are 100% better right from the start.
I will also add that I used Budget Blinds in the past with a different franchise, who was headed up by Janet, but since they don’t serve my new geography she wasn’t able to help out. So these franchises are not all bad, just this one. A rotten tomato, I hope they remove him to avoid spoiling the reputation of the entire company.
