Matt Penney worked me into his schedule at 6AM twice a week for 10 weeks after I had dislocated my shoulder and had resigned myself to surgery, which Matt has thankfully helped me avoid. He is a phenomenal physical therapist who helps people get«hope and optimism first» and their lives back on track. I am an athletic person in my early 50’s and my injury was a wake up call — Matt helped me once again realize that healing takes patience and work. Matt has a great team working in an open floor plan setting with him as the quarterback. He knows what’s going on with all his clients and where they are in their recovery and his goal is to get you healed and gone so the next patient can experience the same thing. Thank you so much Matt and the team at Advanced Sports Therapy!!!

Extremely helpful and professional PT business. Efficient, respectful of time, thoughtful and most importantly, they are very knowledgeable. Great staff and therapists.

This is the first PT place that actually helped me. First off, I was able to make an appointment and see a therapist quickly — that’s never happened to me before. And my therapist, Tom, was always happy to answer my questions with a lot of detail but not a lot of technical jargon. As time went on, I would see other patients with shoulder problems working with Tom and asking him the same questions over and over again like I did, but Tom always answered them as if it was the first time he’d ever been asked the question. All the staff seem friendly and light hearted. The place is immaculate and the front desk person got to know me by name(sadly, hurt my back just as shoulder was mending). It’s the kind of place where patients bring cookies to the staff b/c they are fun(and deserve it). I guess the most important thing is that my shoulder was locked, and afterwards it wasn’t. My back was ridiculously painful — and then not. Doable exercises with bands and a lot of important education does the trick(at least for me) If I had to complain about something I’d say they should spend 20 minutes firmly attaching their dressing room lockers to the wall — for safety and even more so that I don’t have to read and re-read their fading signs warning visitors to be careful about the lockers not being attached to the wall.
