I stayed here once many years ago and was pleased with the place then. My, my how things have changed. The carpet in front of the refrigerator was wet and when the front desk was alerted we were told we could move our room later in the day. When we returned from visiting family in hospice, the carpet was even more wet. Upon going to the front office to get our room switched, we were told there were no rooms available. When asked why they did not clean our room we were told because we were moving. The front desk person was very rude. After a second visit to see if we could get our money back to move to a hotel down the raod, we were then told they did not clean our room because there were items on the bed. So which is it? The room was not cleaned because we were moving rooms or because we had a suitcase on one of the two beds? Against my better judgment we did not change hotels because they miraculously found an open room(there are currently 4 cars in the parking lot). Aside from the poor attitude and less than acceptable customer service, the rooms are small and very dated. If given the option between this hotel and any other place; I would choose the later.

On a family trip from Massachusetts to Niagara, we needed a place to stop for the night, and found a good deal for the night. Really for a quick over night stay, all you can ask for is a good mattress and a clean room. Well, we got both as the room was very clean, and the mattresses were very good. As a bonus, there was also a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included and consisted of fruit, cereals, mini waffle station, bagels, toast, eggs, sausages, mini muffins, juice and coffee. Kids loved the mini waffles! Would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

Have stayed twice now at this hotel. Staff has always been friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. New flat screen tv’s with lots of channels. Refrigerator and microwave in room and beds are comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows.

False advertising with a large sign outside advertising free Wifi. The Wifi did not work and we heard that it has not worked for some time. The owner won’t take her sign down. Poor lighting in the room and you can hear every movement your neighbor makes in the bathroom. The only saving grace here is the woman behind the desk, Gail. She is friendly and helpful.

Basic room, poor lighting, could not get wi fi or cabled Internet access in our room. There was one big design flaw in our opinion: our room was way in the back of the hotel & our family’s room was in the front by the lobby. There is no breezeway/staircase connecting the front & back — you either have to drive or walk around the back thru the tall grass or walk around the front on the dangerous hairpin curve driveway(this time in the pouring rain) — just bad planning. Also our king room’s fridge was in the closet, taking up a lot of space for hanging up clothes-also bad planning. On the plus side: The lobby & breakfast area was charming and comfortable; Gail at the front desk was very friendly & helpful; continental breakfast was very nice, with hot, delicious coffee & fresh waffles; the bathroom shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure!
