The is a lovely quaint Mexican restaurant. The lady who served us was awesome!!! They have some of the best customer service and the food was great too! The margaritas were full of tequila as well. Lol

I would give zero stars if I could. Went here on Memorial Day and had the worst food ever! My husband and I were hungry so we stopped on our way home from Oregon, we ordered the cheese enchiladas this was the worst food I have ever had we instantly felt sick to our stomachs. We thought we couldn’t go wrong with cheese however we were wrong and were sick for the 5 hr drive home and all night. NEVER NEVER NEVER EAT here. And not to mention is was $ 40 for out meal what a waste of $$.

Cliff is great! Take the happiest margarita option, as long as you don’t have to drive anywhere. Good food, great margaritas! If you like flan, you need to try theirs!

For a $ 19 check I was expecting a pretty killer meal especially considering all of the glowing reviews however I couldn’t even finish my meal and that is rare for me. I’m a proud plate demolisher.
It was obvious in my first few bites that this was a meal that was being served reheated. The chile relleno wasn’t terrible albeit definitely not fresh — the cheese inside was pretty cold but the vegetarian tamale definitely was! Crumbly as though it had been sitting in a freezer for an undetermined amount of time. I wasn’t pleased with anything I ate here (although my friend enjoyed his spinach enchiladas but he also really enjoys Taco Bell so take that with a grain of salt *wink*) but whatever you do: Don’t waste your money on those tamales.

Meh. Overpriced and mediocre. I ordered their tacos al carbon and a glass of iced tea. When she brought the iced tea out, it barely looked different from the water it was so weak. I took one sip, and bleh. Told her that the tea was no good and that I would just have water. She said that’s the way it came from the machine. Well, duh, maybe the machine is out of tea juice or whatever it is. You’d think that just by looking at it she’d know something was wrong.
The salsa was good, but the chips were greasy and not too good.
As for the main dish, it was okay. Three small tacos with some beans and rice. Not worth the $ 14 tab!

For a little restaurant in weed, this was some seriously bomb Mexican food! I ordered the chicken enchiladas and oh yesssss, perfection! I ordered to go and they surprised me with rice and beans too. Extremely affordable, delicious, quick and fresh food! Glad I found this place, thanks to all the other helpers before me :-) thank you! Next time I’m in town, I will have to dine inside., so u can meet this famous Asian woman ;-) Yum! Can’t wait to go back to Shasta and weed!!! I only left today, lol. There are so many yummy and a couple crummy around! ;-) If you are feeling like some Mexican food, you found the very best spot nearby! Enjoy!

WTH… how did this place got 3 stars!!! the server was AMAZING, the drinks were INCREDIBLE, and the food was even BETTER than the service and drinks@! This is definitely the place to stop. It is hard to find such a great Mexican restaurant in California. Every time I am either passing through or staying in weed I will be stopping at Dos Amigos. I suggest you do the same!

Our server Cliff was AMAZING! He was very attentive to our needs and made us feel extremely welcome. The cocktails they serve are tasty with a good kick and well worth the money. I had the cool jerk and my friend had the patron margarita. Mine was perfect for the lovers of a tasty sweet cocktail and the margarita was for the ones that like that tart kick. if you’re a vodka drinker DON“T miss out on the cool jerk. It was delish for the low price of under $ 5. Our overall experience was very pleasant, inexpensive, and we will be coming back.

This place is okay. I mean the Mexican food isn’t that bad it taste okay. Being Mexican and from southern california, it definitely doesn’t even come close at all. But for what this place is it’s decent. Decent service, decent food, decent price. Neutral.

3 stars, really Unilocalers?!? This place is AWESOME! !
We came in for a weekend lunch and were warmly greeted by the ( Unilocal made famous) asian lady :) I noticed she was talking in Hindi and told her I’m so surprised she knows Hindi… her asian looks are deceiving lol! She told us she is from Calcutta India and has been here 17yrs! We had some great conversation with her :)
We ordered a couple of drinks (note– great selection) and a super burrito and tacos. We were initially served (free) hot chips and salsa followed by our order. The food was very good!
When it was time for the bill we were told our drinks were free. yeeeeeeeee! Also while packing away our remaining food in a to-​go box they added fresh salsa and sweet bread at no extra cost!
Boy this place ROCKS! Highly Highly recommended folks! Do not miss this place on your stop in Weed ;)

It is with great trepidation that a good ‘ol boy from Texas enters a Cocina Mexicana in California as we generally detest Cal-​Mex chow :-)
Dos Amigos is amazing! The owner waited on me and much to my surprise he’s an Asian guy that grew up in India. .super friendly, attentive, and fun!
I had the #16, which is a chile relleno and a pork tamale, both of which are outstanding,. His Margarita was truly wonderful and really kicked butt. .definitely not the watered-​down typical frozen limeade.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

went to dinner here tonight while passing through on moto trip. Read the reviews and since we were staying within walking distance and we LOVE Mexican food we walked on over. First off I wasn’t sure if I was in a gift shop, or restaurant. Very interesting place. We entered and were told sit anywhere. We were immediately treated by a very nice Asian women who brought our drinks, chips and salsa. Dinner was ordered and we never saw her again but there busy time came and multiple other workers came. Very good service. Great margaritas. I had a tostada salad, ok, hubby had a chilli Rey and taco, very good!
Décor confusing but if you can look past that, very good good and drinks!
