This place is alright. I feel like I am generous with four stars comparing to other reviews but I like this places. It has a bar, food that taste pretty good, and taste even better when you are drunk, and a bowling alley. Get wasted, play some games of bowling and eat some good food. Can’t ask for more than that! Yeah it looks a little run down but it’s still a pretty good little spot. Four stars!

Hardly have I felt incensed to leave a review so poor, but this takes the cake. The girl hides the Friday night special and immediately after we pay, we find it because of someone else’s recommendation. She insisted she could not do refunds and blatantly lied that she had given us the extent of the special. Following this, she tried to insist that we pay for our two orders we never received for the duration of our bowling. She insisted that we should just wait until they finally make the order. It’s not a refund. In fact, it’s stealing if they’re making a patron pay for a product that never materializes. While I like to support mom and pop joints, and small town hang out, this one is a crooked place run by some jokes as customer service. Shady dealings. Do not go here. BEWARE.

Great staff I love the ladies in the back cooking pizza and other foods the employe names escape me at the moment but are several that are awesome The bar is very modern however to casual it smells like Weed all the time because the customers smoke in the alley. If I was the owner I would implicate a dress code and exercise my right to deny service, business could be better if everyone there felt safe way to many sketchy people that don’t even have money to spend! This is a business not a hang out spot. I’ve seen miners at the bar after nine pm so idk I’m not a cop orABC’s

Odd experience. 4 of us went bowing and the girl said you can just pay at the end. About 1 hour in, the same girl said we needed to pay now because she was leaving(ok, no big deal). She took the credit card, she said it only ran for $ 13.00 and the remainder(60 something) would have to be paid in cash. In my 18 years of dealing with credit card machines, if the card does not have enough to cover the charge it will decline, it will not partially run. So when I questioned it and explained to the girl how credit card machines work she said«well, let me call my boss». Then all of sudden the credit card magically ran for the whole amount. Two possibilities I see, either the girl was trying to steal from her boss or the boss is shady!!! Not sure which one is correct but something is definitely not on the up and up!!! Beware

like in & out — they have a secret menu — oh so good! potato skins — unbelievably good — one of my all time favorite comfort foods and they have figured out how to master it. but it’s not on the menu. there French fries are all fresh and good — ask for them extra crispy — two other secret menu items — fried pickles — don’t knock it till you try it – cause once you try them — you’ll go back asking for more and the final one i’ll share — the«donut» holes — freshly made — when you order!

This is a cute little bowling alley. The girl there was super friendly, the pizza was great. They have a back room with what looks like a pool table and a bar. I could definitely see myself dragging some people here if I can get a group trip up next time! :)

I LOVETHISPLACE! They always have fun things to do on holidays. We came here a few times on regular nights. Then on Halloween there was a Karaōke contest with a costume contest. They have .25 cent chicken wings on Tuesdays I think too. And they serve lots of other foods too. Good foods. Their fries are YUMMY. So are the mozzarella sticks. and good burgers. Love their ranch and marinara dipping sauces. They do fried chicken and onion rings too. And pizza I think. Beer by the pitcher at the serving area. But also there is a regular bar over to the side where you can get whatever else you want. And bowling is super cheap. Just a couple bucks for the shoes and then only a few cents for each roll of the ball. You can play all night for very little money. A decent amount of lanes for a small town, and they play music and all. Sports on the TV. But if you actually wanna bowl, the same rule applies here as any bowling alley– DON’T GOON A BOWLINGLEAGUENIGHT! lol. You will not get a lane at all. So call ahead and find out when that is. But if you mostly just want to eat, drink and socialize, then bowling league night is good because you can meet lots of people. Its a great place to go and socialize, have dinner, listen to good music and bowl on a night when there is nothing to do, but you don’t just wanna go sit in a regular old«bar». Food prices are pretty fair too. I say give it a visit. Its a lot of fun :)

I was in Weed recording at Radiostar Studio’s. This particular place was hit up by my band quite a bit during the time there for night time distraction. Cheap beer, cheap bowling, and we made a big mess each time and they didn’t throw us out. So, from me, A+.

When I asked a local for a recommondation for a good burger joint, I was told to go to the bowling alley. Since I never pass up a food tip if I can help it, I ended up sitting at the counter with a Space Burger, chili fries and a root beer. I seriously felt like I should have been on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. My burger bun was made out of Wonder bread cut out in a circle that was then put into this medieval looking clamp contraption that resembled a fireplace tong with a big circle on each side. In between the sliced bread was cheese, mustard, lettuce and ground beef. This was clamped together and cooked on the grill until the bread was crisp and crunchy. The end result was like an Americanized fast food empanada. Like I said, this was interesting enough to be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Tasty, too. Oh, and the beer is incredibly cheap and I actually bowled two lines.(I think that’s the correct lingo.)

Ok, so i didn’t actually bowl here. I stopped by on my drive from Oregon and this was the recommended public restoom. It was clean. Nice people, there was a bar– which is awesome(If I weren’t driving 5 hours). A little dingy but so is the rest of Weed. If I lived here(thank god I don’t) I would probably hit this place up a lot.

This place is pretty fun if you have a large group. There are not THAT many lanes and it certainly pales in comparison to more modern alleys but whatever Cedar Lanes is a classic bowling alley and you should take it with a grain of salt. Some of the locals are usually really freaking good at the sport too so be prepared to be shown up if you think you are something special(especially watch out for the women’s league). The food is pretty good as well…

Best bowling alley EVER! None of that candlepin crap that I have to deal with in boston either. Big balls for big men.. . and women.. . and small women.. . and small men(like yours truly) What makes this the best alley ever isn’t the décor, or the beer(don’t even know if they serve it) It’s the fact that the guy behind the counter will give you free bowling lessons if your really suck. Such was the case with our intrepid assistant, Cecil, who was happy to bowl above 20. After a couple quick lessons and practice throws on the carpety Cec came back and whooped out asses. Fuck you grease hole. The only bad thing that happened was that I felt something snap in my thumb when I threw a ball, and I lacked sensitivity in the tip for a loooooong time after.. but that’s hardly their fault
