Storage units, in general, are such wastes of money. Ugh. We had a small unit here for 19 months at $ 84/​month… Literally spent near $ 1,600 to store junk. We finally decided enough is enough and shit-​canned 95% of what we were storing.
Pros: Uncle Bob’s storage is secure. They have different sized units to rent. Looks like they have indoor storage units too. There are many Uncle Bob’s locations around.
Cons: Based on what friends say, for the size unit we had, Uncle Bob’s was more expensive than their storage. Visiting your unit in the winter kind of sucks. They do plow but it still is awful trying to get in. My husband cut his hand on the «sardine can-​like» door when it got stuck.
All in all, decent storage I guess. Hope to not have so much crap that we have to store it in the future.
