I initially visited MFF to participate in a 21-day challenge. But after much thought, I realized that my work duties(consisting of entertaining clients, eating out on a weekly basis, and attending many happy hours) prevented me from sticking to this plan. I still wanted to improve my nutrition, however, and heard about the healthier options and portion control here. Therefore, I incorporated MFF into my routine. My Fit Foods is a solid 3.5, but I’m rounding up because I keep going back for more. Even though I cannot stand eggs for breakfast, I keep picking up the«Good morning, Sunshine» pack consisting of seasoned ground turkey, pico de gallo, rice, and eggs – with a 4-to-1 white to yolk ratio making the meal much tastier. I also really enjoy the lemon turkey, turkey chili, and the«Picnic Time» snack is surprisingly delicious. I do not like the crackers, as I feel they are a waste of calories, and I prefer not to eat anything with tilapia. The prices are a bit high for the portions, but I rationalize it by not having to wash dishes, not having to grocery shop, and not having to think about what I want for dinner. It’s a time-saver for sure, and I hope the menu will continue to expand with more delicious options.

So far my favorites are besto pesto & almond crusted chicken. This place is so awesome especially if you’re trying to live a healthy lifestyle on the go. My only complaints are sometimes many things can be low or out of stock and I wish the prices could be a little cheaper.

I wish I had found this place sooner! Great portions! Clean standards. The young man who assisted me was very personable and gave me his full attention while assisting me with my purchase. The prices are very reasonable. The food is very fresh. There seems to really be a lot of attention placed into the details. Totally worth trying.

While I have been a customer of MFF for a few years now, this was my first visit to this location since it opened. I had a BOGO coupon since they closed the kiosk inside our local HEB. I’ve noticed that the portions have been getting smaller and on some of the meals they have removed the nutrition label … not sure why though, as they were helpful with Protein, Carb & Sodium info. Clean, convenient location!

Good food, good selection. Only con is the price. A little too pricey for microwave meals in my opinion. I had the salmon and it smelled very very fishy, a little too fishy for cooked salmon. I can only hope that they have a good clean kitchen and are strict on cross contamination etc. With no preservatives and no freezing someone could get really sick. I would like to see the kitchen one day, I’ll ask net time I’m there and update.

Stopped in for a quick lunch to see what it was all about. This place offers prepackaged fresh foods that you can microwave to eat. The options are healthy(well healthier than fast food) and come in portions for people who care about portions(It is NOT a giant pile of food like you get at Texas restaurants). They have a lot of different options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and little snacks. I had the lean lemon turkey and it was pretty good and had good flavor and taste, comes with a little bit of asparagus. They just opened so not sure how busy they’ll get but probably won’t be very busy because there are only a handful of tables to eat at.(and by busy I just mean crowded). You CAN eat there if you want to — they have microwaves. Or you can take your food to go. Not sure how this type of option would fit into my schedule yet. I feel like this is good for people who want to pick up something healthy and heat it up at work everyday, or maybe you want to eat healthy food but don’t want to cook — this is a «fast food» option in that case that you can stop in and pick up. They told me the food lasts 3 – 6 days in your fridge. It is not frozen food. It isn’t made to order but it IS made fresh daily and then just refrigerated until bought. They also have a ton of gluten free options(as in, almost everything I see on the menu(over 50 items) is gluten free). I will have to keep this in mind and come in to pick up food on the way home when there’s nothing at home to eat. It is right outside of barnes and noble and michaels in the bay brook mall area. The employee that spoke to me was very nice and so was another lady who seemed like a manager or something. Everyone was pretty nice and helpful. So overall pleasant experience and I will definitely come back.
