The food here is absolutely average at best. The fajitas are very mediocre and expensive at that. The top shelf margarita uses Sauza or some other cheap low shelf crap. All in all if you want a $ 50 + tab and mediocre tex mex bring your date here.

The only place I will dine at for Mexican food! Some of my favorite dishes are the beef enchiladas, chicken chimichangas, and both the beef and chicken fajitas. I have been here a few times on weekends to experience the dance party that goes down late at night — complete with live music and a disco ball! Service here is always great — staff is very friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and plan to keep it that way!

I normally don’t do ratings unless it’s exceptional or horrible. In this case, it was horrible. Like another person said, if you didn’t have to give them at least 1 star I would have given them 0. We got our food to go-it was quick but probably because they warmed up frozen food in a microwave. The beans had the tint of a bad tan and tasted like they were straight out a can, the rice was bland and the kids meal quesadillas came with only 2 measly pieces of quesadilla slices. I seriously could have gotten more food if I would have spent the same $ 5 at McDonald’s. My husband got the beef fajita enchiladas and they barely had any sauce or cheese on them, they were pretty dry. If you want a better experience at Las Haciendas I recommend the one on Marina Bay Drive, we’ve been to that location several times and the quality of the food and service is 10 times what this location offers. I guess this is a good place to go after you’ve spent a night drinking and don’t care about eating good food. Good luck if you eat here.

If I couldn’t rate it I would. Firstly it took us 15 minutes to even get greeted after we were seated. They had 3 tables on the floor and 7 servers. They were not busy at all. Everyone was standing around doing not a damn thing.. By the time we got greeted, our server had an attitude that I promise would have never worked well at any other restaurant. As a former server I’m somewhat of a stickler but I give people room to fuck up. Then our drinks came back wrong, how do you mess up a Frozen Mango Strawberry Margarita & A Sangria Margarita? Then they got our food order wrong 3 times, and each time they just acted like it wasn’t a big deal but there people here with allergies.. I had to request a manager, who seemed less than interested to hear. We told him, paying for what we ordered is no problem but you should pay better attention to your restaurant and staff making sure your presence is known.. my rant is over but I don’t recommend.

I am not sure what happened, but the food quality has gone downhill. Beef enchiladas were salty, rice had no seasoning, refried beans seemed like out of a can. Fajitas were overdone slightly burnt. Wonder if chef left or went on vacation. Salsa was warm and the best part of the meal. The place is usually full but it was actually somewhat empty, Staff was nice and prompt.

Waitstaff is horrible! Not friendly at all! I was holding my 11month old on my lap for about 15 minutes, till I got up and got the damn high hair my self! I’ll stick with Ramriez restaurant on El Camino!

Pretty good Mexican food. On par or slightly better than most in the area. Fast service. Phone in orders are confusing but manageable.

It’s an upscale taco bell.

Horrible service. The waiter was extremely rude as if we were a bother. The food was awful thought I was eating a frozen el patio dinner. We wont back.

Ordered chimichanga. Wife ordered enchiladas. Food came out so very fast that I worry that it’s simply microwaved. Sorry, but the food was rather flavorless and a bit of a disappointing value-for-money. Chips and salsa were complimentary and ok.

Absolutely one of the worst places to eat. The chili-con-queso taste like a melted yellow trash bag. Never again.

First off this place is mine and my wife’s go to spot for Mexican. It’s not the all out best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but it is very good. It’s super fast and the service is always adequate. We can be in and out for fewer than 20 $ and 30-minutes. You can’t beat that. Whenever we have family or friends coming over and we don’t want to mess with cooking and all that jazz, we phone them up and place an order and regardless what it is, its ready for us to pick up in 15 minutes. The staff is friendly, and if you become a regular, you start to notice small things not appear on the check. Just a benefit of a small place.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t get better ratings. We always get fajitas and it was all we could do to keep each other from licking the plate!

The food here is pretty good compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The salsa and chips are good. I usually get food from here. Although the prices are a little on the high side.

This is OK spot for a quick, cheap Mexican fix. Salsas were good, food was OK, nothing special at all. The staff was quick(probably because the joint was empty) but got my order wrong. Our server was also not quick to refill beverages. I’d rather go to Chili’s.

We had a coupon from the«Postal Publication» circular that comes in the mail and decided to try this place. It was pretty busy for 5:30 pm on a Thursday but the place is huge so there were plenty of places to sit. We were seated promptly and got our chips and salsa quickly. The red salsa was warm which I’m not usually crazy about but it actually tasted pretty good; the green salsa was very good also. I ordered the chicken verde enchiladas and hubby ordered the beef chimichangas. Both were served with rice and beans and the portions were HUGE! You definitely get your money’s worth here! Plus it was definitely great tasting food. Mine had shredded chicken which tasted like it had been marinated and was tender and yummy; hubby’s had ground beef and had a good spicy(but not hot) flavor too. I had to steal a bite as his was covered in queso… yum! We also each had a small vanilla cone; it was kind of melty but not too bad at all although we were both stuffed! We will definitely be back even without a coupon… I was impressed with the food and the service and really liked it here. Although it was extremely loud in there between the music and the people, so if you’re looking for a place to have a romantic dinner this would not be it!

Ok, so we’re in the ‘burbs. If you’re going out to eat, 85% of the choices are national chain restaurants. So when my family goes out to eat Tex Mex, we like to come here because it’s not a Chili’s. We always eat fajitas and they’re always tender and you don’t always have to stick to either beef or chicken. They’ve got short ribs, shrimp, and all sorts of things for you to stick into your tortilla. We choose it over Pappasito’s because it’s just as good but cheaper. Oh, and btw, the coupon in the Entertainment book for«La Hacienda» is NOT valid at this place — it’s a different restaurant! Gotta love the never ending chips, salsa, and guac dip. Can’t complain about my water glass never getting empty. Pass on the free soft-serve ice cream at the end, though. It’s too icy.

I really enjoyed dining here. I was a little hesitant to go here, since I already have my own favorite mexican restaurants in the area. Also, I’m so picky about green sauce(salsa verde) that I don’t really like to try different places. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the dip! The green sauce was mild and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, my brother, and red sauce counterpart, was not so impressed. He was disappointed that the red sauce tasted a little«ketchup-y». The prices were a little higher what we’re used to, but I was impressed with the amount of food we received. We brought home a lot of yummy left overs! Everyone seemed pretty happy with their meals and drinks.(Drinks by the way, my dad and sis both got $ 1 beers for happy hour) My sister’s only«gripe» was that her tamale was not very good, but everything else, she liked. It was pretty busy, typical Saturday night, so we had to wait a little longer for our food to arrive, but our waitress was excellent, refills were timely.

You know the food is really not all that bad — decent, but certainly not the best thing I’ve ever had and the service is decent as well. If you’re going there for lunch and dinner… enjoy. If you’re going there for happy hour, I would suggest only getting beer unless you like the taste of pure liquor. On the plus side, they do feature a nacho bar during happy hour but its mediocre at best. Holy crap this place makes horrible drinks! Their idea of a margarita is basically tequila with a little lime in it. If you’d prefer a nice sugary rum drink to satisfy your thirst, just decide what color you want your rum to be – blue, red, green — because it will have no flavor to it other than rum. Of course, if you want to get drunk on the cheap and don’t mind tasting your liquor then come out to Las Haciendas Mexican Bar & Grill for happy hour! Just make sure you have a designated driver first.
