Kmart

Zero stars. Brought a watch back that I purchased at Webster K Mart less than 6 weeks ago because it basically fell apart. The clerk said she couldn’t help me because it was over 30 days. This was definitely a manufacturer defect and she offered no other solutions. Most other stores would replace it hands down no questions asked. I have been shopping there most of my adult life. But as of now you lost a regular customer. I’ll travel the extra miles to Walmart. Thanks for nothing!

So, I visited Kmart for the last time about a month or so ago looking for a replacement mouse for my computer. I visited the electronics department to find that it was almost completely wiped out and I was told by the associate that they only really stock the area during the holidays. Flabbergasted, I left, in all likelihood, never to return.

Kmart is an ailing decaying entity. Its not just this location, it seems to be all of them. Floors are cracked, ceilings are stained and there doesn’t seem to be any investment in updating the store locations. Its not glossy and its a bit depressing. This is rally sad if you think of the legacy behind the olé’ Kresge Mart. There are still 1200+ locations in the US though and the parent company (Sears Holdings) actually posted a Sears/​Kmart profit of $ 189 Million USD back in Q1/2012…not revenue… profit. So Its safe to say they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Thats good news for Rain Man who still buys his underwear here.
Actually I pulled a Rain Man and bought some underwear here. I bought Wrangler boxer briefs… you know… so I would feel like a cowboy. It kind of works? Anyway… you enter at your own risk, knowing full well what awaits you within the doors. One accepts it for what it is. One does not expect the finest goods and award winning customer service. Nope. Its raw, shady, rough around the edges and cheap. All that said, I will always choose Kmart over WalMart. I cannot support Walmart and their business practice, market manipulation and crappy employee treatment.
This Webstah location gets an extra star for having RC Cola 20oz bottles the drink case on the front wall by the registers. RC4LYFE

To quote Charlie Babbitt (Rain Man)…“K-Mart sucks.“
Not sure what they’re trying to do with this place. The prices aren’t that great. The merchandise just seems to be thrown out there.
I don’t even bother going there unless I come across some incredible sale.
