Fusion Salon & Spa

Got a mani-​pedi there a few weeks ago and it was a good experience for me. I called around 1:30 on a Saturday to see if they could get me in for 2:30 for both the manicure and pedicure. The woman I spoke with on the phone said they would try but that they do close at 4:00 on Saturdays. I let them know I was flexible and would take a manicure if that’s all there was time for. The ladies there were so wonderful and fit in both while staying just a bit past closing time!
I love going to a salon where you can chit-​chat with the woman doing your nails and this was totally the place for that! Fusion Salon had great ambiance and was well maintained despite the fact they were in the process of replacing the floors. I’ll definitely go again and would recommend it to any of my local friends.
Also, the prices are fair by salon standards. It’s not the cheap mall nail salon prices but it’s also not the cheap mall nail salon experience :)

So… Salon reviews are hard if you are not happy. Once you leave the review, you are basically black listed at that facility if you use your true name (as Unilocal suggests). They are also tricky because if you had one bad experience with a stylist, that doesn’t necessarily mean the other stylists are also equally bad.
However, I had my hair colored at Fusion a couple of years ago by KG and it was HORRIBLE! I had highlights put in that were too much for my skin tone, and when she used the foil, she left chucks around the frame of my face that were not touched with color at all. So when I pulled my hair back into a pony, which I told her that I did to work out, I looked like a checkerboard. When I noticed the problem at home, that same day, I returned to the salon to ask if she could fix it. She looked at me like I had three heads. She couldn’t see what I was talking about. At that point, I knew I was done there.
The only reason I gave this a 3 star was because of NF. She is a great stylist and colorist. If you must frequent this facility, make sure you ask for her. She really is a gem.
