Delray Doc’s Fruit & Deli

I was crunched for time so I called del ray docs and they put together platters for me in 2 hours.
They always use the best ingredients, and the service is excellent.:)

This place has the best. Delray has the best fresh meat. I always buy chicken breast there. It is the biggest and juiciest chicken around and its fresh. Their fresh ground hamburger is the bomb. The deli service is amazing. I will not buy meat at Big Y or Price Chopper anymore because I would rather make a trip to Delray.
The subs are awesome too. They also carry a wide variety of polish food!
This is a weekly stop for me.

Great place to go for fresh produce and some of the best sandwiches around. Their italian grinder is one of THE BEST! They are quick, which is great for those who need to be in & out for lunch. They don’t skimp on what they put in their sandwiches either. Prices are very reasonable. You can’t sit and eat here, you must take your stuff & go, but everyone seems OK with that.

The one thing that impressed me here was the fact that the staff seemed to know a lot of their customers on a first name basis and took the time to say hello and chat. On the down side is the fact that I walked around for 10 – 15 minutes and was never approached. Guess no one wanted to learn my name.
The store was very clean and well laid out. Prices were quite competitive. We had actually stopped for blueberries which was the one thing I couldn’t find. Would definitely stop if shopping in the area and plan on trying a sandwich here in the near future.

I love Delray. They have a unique selection with food products that I do not see anywhere else. Their deli is amazing and their prices are great. You absolutely MUST try the cranberry walnut chicken salad (it is my favorite).

DelRay Doc’s is a nice little deli that sells fresh fruits and vegetables as well. The selection is good for this area. I would much rather get my vegetables here then at the local Price Chopper. The store itself is located in a small plaza and it is very clean inside. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. It seems that every time i go there, they seem to have a bigger and better selection of items. They also sell cheeses and meats alongside the deli. The deli itself looks fantastic, but i have not yet purchased anything from there. So far, it has only been the vegetables and fruits.
They have a small selection of specialty items such as olive oil, etc. that is worth checking out. My only gripe with the store is they do not currently stock fresh herbs and I hope they consider doing this. Nothing better then some fresh basil or thyme to cook with. I also hope they can expand on their cheese selection and fresh breads would be great as well. Until then, they deserve the four stars, and I would encourage people in the area to check it out.
