Timberline Landscapes

I was looking for someone that really knew what they were doing when it comes to landscaping. I was not just looking for someone with a strong back to throw block. I needed three distinct task completed for my back yard. I have a walk-​in basement and a deck. The area under the deck was always wet. I needed my yard drainage fixed, a rotten railroad tie wall replaced with a block wall and either concrete poured or a paver patio installed. I interviewed 7 or 8 contractors. Timberline suggested ideas and entertained my ideas as well. They promptly got back with me with a Cad Design of what my yard would look like and a quote. We discussed a few changes and they made them and got started. They were professional from beginning to end. The finished product was awesome and something to be proud of. My only suggestion is to book them early because they get busy. I recommend them highly.

From initial project quoting through execution the team was very cordial, willing to help and professional. We had two pretty sizeable retaining walls constructed and overall we are very happy with the look and construction of the walls. Will absolutely use them again.

Timberline just finished landscaping our front yard last week, and we are very happy with the outcome. We were given detailed plans and were able to change some of the plants during the proposal period. Our project could be considered on the smaller side, but the crew took the time to address any concerns or questions that we had.
We had bushes, small trees, railroad ties and a concrete planter ripped out before Timberline installed a new curved stone wall and plants. We were told how to care for the plants and the crew did a good job with clean up.

We are very pleased with Timberline, especially since the first landscape company hung up on us when they found out we were going to be less than $ 10,000 in business for them.
Timberline built stone walls around 3 of our garden beds, cutting the stones to fit so you get a sense of craftmanship whenever you look at our walls.
They even did some last minute tweaks for us. Yes, we are very pleased.

Very unprofessional company and unreliable! I had an appointment scheduled to take a look at our back yard and figure out some ideas of what we could do to clean it up and improve it. The appointment was scheduled for 5:30pm. The guy (Lee) didn’t even show up until 6:10pm…no call to let us know he would be late. To make matters worse, when he did show up, there was no apology whatsoever. He didn’t even care. Super unprofessional! We proceeded to the backyard (even though I felt like telling him to just go home because I was no longer interested in his services at that point). We talked about some things we wanted to see done in our backyard and how we wanted to keep the price reasonable. The whole time, he was just standing there with a stupid look on his face not offering much help. The bottom line came down to the fact that this company only wants to cater to rich people, and since we weren’t willing to spend an arm and a leg for landscaping cleanup, he didn’t want anything to do with us. I couldn’t believe it! What a stuck-​up jerk! At the end of the appointment, he said he’d speak with his maintenance crew and see what they’d do for us and let us know either way. That was a flat out lie because he already knew he didn’t want our business because we weren’t rich. No surprise to me, he never got back to me like he promised. Also, after I waited 30 mins for him to show up, I decided to call the company and ask what was going on. I left a message explaining the situation, so I expected a call the next day from a manager to apologize for their employee’s unprofessional behavior, but it never happened. Haven’t heard back from them since the awful appointment. This is a terrible company that is poorly run. The best way to keep yourself in business is by referral and word of mouth. Not only will I never recommend this company to anyone I know, I will tell everyone what a poor experience I had.

Timberline is a very professional company. They have nice vehicles & equipment, and it’s not embarrassing for them to be parked in front of your house while they’re there.
I’ve personal experience in terms of them installing a drainage mitigation system — a rock bed with channel to route rain water. They’ve also done a nice job of spring/​fall clean up at my home. The owner is quite experienced & creative when it comes to finding the right solution for the customer.
