The Crimson Petal

This review is going to serve as a warning to those future clients here so they can have a level of expectation that I didn’t have. We are getting married next October, and were trying to obtain The Crimson Petal’s services for our floral arrangements and bouquets. We met with her in a very casual way. Her office/​storefront was too cluttered so she offered us to sit outside on a patio area. While it was a nice night, I felt it a bit informal. This also didn’t allow for her to show us any sample centerpieces or flowers like the others we have met with. All of this aside, she did have some good ideas, and we were eager to get the quote back from her. We met with her on a Tuesday, and she said by the following Monday we would have our quote.
Sadly, no such quote has arrived. We waited for it all week until Friday, when we called and e-​mailed her. We finally got ahold of her, and she said oh yeah I remember you, I have the quote done, I just need to put it all in a formal e-​mail and send it to you, and that we will have it on Monday. Again, we wait. Nothing comes on Monday, so we call again, and e-​mail again. This time no response on either. Here it is now Wednesday, still no quote. Even if she was the cheapest by a mile, I now feel very apprehensive in using her, as her communication skills are terrible, and it also caused me not to trust a word to come out of her mouth. It’s a shame too, because I really thought if all the communication went well, she was going to be the option we were going to choose.

The Crimson petal did the flowers for our wedding and they were all so gorgeous! The flowers were fresh and stayed beautiful for days after the wedding!
We had a special request for the boutonnieres and Kelly made it work. We had some mugs specially made and she was able to integrate them into our centerpieces with flowers. It was gorgeous.
She writes out exactly what she’s thinking for your flowers and tries to keep everything seasonal for the most beautiful, long lasting flowers.
My husband also uses her for special occasion flowers, such as mothers day, valentines day and birthdays. The flowers are always beautiful and last forever. She’s truly creative with her arrangements and will never disappoint.
