Reems Creek Golf Course

Beautiful mountain course lush fairways and well manicured greens. This course plays to all skill levels and you can shoot a low score here if you play conservative and manage the course. The fairways were very nice and the ball flew great at attitude. The greens ran true and held very well. The rolling back drop can make lining up a putt a little deceptive. Over all this is a very nice course I played it during the dry season and it was in perfect condition.
The staff was friendly and outgoing and the club house and pro shop was okay too. There wasn’t a lot of play the day we played so the pace was perfect. I would definitely return to play again if in the area.

I went this morning and played here. I was sad to see a course of this quality that has been inundated by rainfall. I could see how great this course could be but the fairways were shot. The greens on the front were dying. Fringes were more like broken up rough. Sand traps were mud holes around many of the greens. I could have shot a 75 if it were in better shape. Clubhouse was nice people were very friendly. Ill play here again if the course is in good shape.

So when I Unilocal in and around my hometown you’ll have to understand I’m pulling from my memory banks of growing up here. This is like being in a dream… everything is the same, but everything «feels» different.
Reems Creek is a course that has been around a long time, but I never played golf here growing up as my parents were members of one of the country clubs in the area.
I have a company golf outing and had to do a little practice hitting as I hadn’t played in almost a year and Reems creek golf course came to mind.
They located near Weaverville and tucked away in a beautiful valley. They are open until 6pm during the week and that applies to both the course and driving range. Course rates are around $ 30 dollars and a bucket of balls for the driving range go from $ 5 to $ 8 dollars. All and all reasonably priced.
The course looked very nice and the driving range, though mainly all on an uphill more than served my purpose.
All and all a great experience and I look forward to returning to play a few rounds.
