Function veterinarians are murderers they ain’t worth a darn therapist ilities stink they smell like trash they’re rude and their killers do not ever take your dog down for that would die mine did because they killed it but it wasn’t done simple procedure and they didn’t they did offer to but they said it was going to do and if a man thinks that they’re good is stupid

They are good vets — great vets, even — and by FAR the cheapest in the area. I would give them 5 stars if it wasn’t for the waiting room. They don’t make appointments, so you have to show up early and wait. And wait. They open at 9: get there at 8 (you will be waiting on the porch until 9, but you won’t be alone) and figure on seeing the doctor at 10:30 or so. The waiting room is very small and there are usually a LOT of other patients there. So if you have a larger dog or two, as I do, waiting can be a problem. But once you do see the doctor you will have wonderful care and they will take all the time you and your furry companion need. If you need low cost excellent veterinary care and you have the time and patience to wait during their admittedly eccentric and difficult to figure hours, then this is the clinic for you.

I am new to this particular area of NC and everyone I spoke with suggested I take my pet to Fox Run due to the weird hours I’m working right now. I checked the web for their hours which, in multiple locations, were listed as 6pm to 8pm and took my pet Wednesday March 27^th at 5:45, expecting a line. There was only another woman and myself there. Due to the weather, which was in the mid 30’s with a strong and cold wind, I waited with my covered up pet in the car until 6. At 6:05 pm the other woman and I waited outside for the doors to open. We didn’t want to be rude or impatient, but due to the weather and us both having sick pets, we knocked on the door. There was a woman inside at the front desk who looked up at us. Fearing the cold was too much for my pet, I put her back into the car to shield her from the wind. We continued to wait until 6:10 and knocked again which was ignored. My boyfriend, who was with me at the time, called with his cell phone. The woman inside ignored it. Both the other woman and I left at 6:15 after finding out their hours have changed by calling an acquaintence who had been there recently.
I can accept business hours changing, and I can accept that in other places of business that a customer would be ignored as a result. Things happen and that’s perfectly okay. What’s NOT okay to me, is in an industry where you’re dealing with PATIENTS and NOT just «customers», is to ignore these people who have brought sick animals in need of care when they’re outside in bad weather conditions when multiple sources have hours that were once correct and nothing is on the door stating otherwise. To me that says the people who work here do not care about pets at all, and if the other people who work here do, the woman who was inside needs to be re-​evaluated as an employee. She could have written a note and put it on the door if she was worried about opening the door after hours (which would be understandable), or she could have answered the phone. I would not bring any pet back to Fox Run because of this experience.
