Tuffy’s Air Conditioning & Heating Service Inc

I moved to Weatherford and set out to find a good AC service. I don’t like drama and I don’t like the dishonest practices I have experienced as well as heard about some Weatherford area AC service companies. I did a heavy duty search of all AC Service rating sites I could find on the web and found 25 reviews of Tuffy’s, far more reviews for Tuffy’s than for any other service. Tuffy’s has an A+ rating from the BBB and the BBB info on Tuffy’s goes back to 2004. The average rating for all ratings from all services was 4.5 which was higher than any other service. I found only one complaint was filed with BBB and it was resolved — that person felt that he should have been charged $ 25 rather than $ 136 for a part — that may be true but AC parts tend to be high priced due to having to keep lots of parts in stock. I feel I have hit the jackpot with Tuffy’s Air Conditioning & Heating Service. When I call for service, Nadine & Jessica are so nice and efficient. Angel was the tech who came out both last year and today — he just flat takes care of business — he is very friendly and happily answers all of my questions and I probably ask far too many! He is also very good at explaining what he has done. I read similar positive comments about other techs — Al, Richard, and Steve. I feel the cost has been reasonable. I highly recommend Tuffy’s AC & Heating Service. And in case the reader is wondering, I did not know anyone connected with Tuffy’s prior to doing my research and I do not know anyone who works at Tuffy’s or any other AC company in Weatherford other than Angel who has been the tech on both visits to my house.

I had another local company out a couple of months prior to Tuffy’s and they changed some things, but that didn’t solve the problem and I was out $ 350 for their effort. I then called Tuffy’s and Steve came out and diagnosed my AC problems. He was great to work with and he really wanted to ensure that I was 100% satisfied. Their pricing was very good and his team showed up on time and finished quickly. They didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything and I felt very comfortable working with them. My AC went out during a recent heat wave. I called Tuffy’s and they came out that evening after I got home from work. Steve, the technician diagnosed the problem, showed me the problem and was able to replace the parts right then. The system was up and running when he left. The cost was reasonable and their prompt and professional service was great. I will definitely be calling them for my HVAC servicing and maintenance from now on.

Great place located around the corner on FM 730 near Lake Weatherford. I had an issue and the techs came out and fully explained what my options were. They are courteous, timely and always exhibit a high quality of expertise. Never try to up-​sell or scare you about anything. They are even pleasant to my wife when she calls the office unlike others in the area. There is no reason to go anywhere else if you live in this area of Parker county!
