Love this place! Managers are always checking in on us. Wait staff is friendly & helpful! Food is reasonably priced & there is a good selection. They have some great options if you have picky eaters or people in your group who aren’t in to traditional Mexican fare… our teen loves the chicken fried steak plate. Sometimes they have live music on the patio. They will put the game on the tvs for you.

My fiancée and I came in at noon on a Friday. Our server, Stacey, was polite and prompt with apps and margaritas. The manager on duty stopped by to talk about different events for nights of the week, and was very pleasant. My fiancée ordered the lunch chicken fajitas, which were tasty. I however, ordered the Leon’s platter(an appetizer) which left a lot to be desired, would not recommend that particular item. The shrimp cocktail was decent, but nothing to go crazy over.

I don’t usually leave poor reviews but unfortunately this place was terrible. Nothing about the food was fresh. The steak enchilada was covered in a nacho cheese-like sauce. The fajitas were swimming in oil. Beyond that our waitress was rude. We won’t be returning.

The most delicious Mexican food in Weatherford by far with a huge menu! The mango ceviche is amazing! Everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. Service is always excellent. I highly recommend!

I am always up for trying out new places, however, I wished I would have skipped this one. Friday nights are our«eat out» nights, so we decided to try out Tequila’s. Walking up to the restaurant front door you pass by the outdoor smoking section/patio. When you come in the front door that’s all you can smell. Smoke. We decided to go ahead and get seated, hoping that the section we sat in would be away far enough from the smell. It helped by being in the back of the restaurant but not much. The hostess seated us and placed 3 tablets on our table. They use these tablets to view their menu selections. Neat concept, however, the covers had salsa stains on them and one of them went dead before we could even look over the menu. We waited 10 minutes and no one even came to our table to bring water or chips so we decided to get up and go to another restaurant. They weren’t busy, so not too sure what was going on. It had the appearance from the outside to be a really neat place.

Chips are terrible. Salsa is terible. My husband got the sour cream enchiladas. The sour cream sauce looks like fluffy curled milk. No taste. The quest bowl was huge but the queso is some type of processed powder something or other. I got the fajitas nachos. those were actually decent but I had to share with my husband could not eat his enchiladas. Dont waste your money. If you do you can’t say I did not warn you.

Not impressed. Hard rice, soupy beans, slow service, drinks made incorrectly. We will not be back.

Poor service. Food is fair. Karaōke night is an awful time to sit on the patio. I really wanted to like this place. Oh well, sometimes«Local» fails.

The menu options were great with pics, a lot of choices and would guess a real chef inspired menu. The fajitas were good, the guac soup was excel. Chips and salsa was good two sauces, the pan grilled chicken had an amazing sauce. Will def be back

Very good restaurant with an awesome menu which really hit home with the pictures actually matching what you order which brought my rating from a 3 to a 4. Very different ambiance for a Mexican restaurant. On top of everything it wasn’t too expensive.

Decided to give this new restaurant in Weatherford a shot, not disappointed at all! They have a unique menu that stands out among the average Tex-Mex in the area, the menu lets you take a look at what the food you get will look like(and it does come out beautifully as the menu presents.) We ordered queso and it was lighter and represented a lot of the flavors throughout their menu; I personally ordered pan roasted chicken that was covered in an AMAZING cheese and lime sauce with avocados, I was thoroughly surprised by it’s level of flavor. As for the presentation of the restaurant itself everything was very clean, and resembled a fancier restaurant while still being a casual spot! If you are a foodie or someone who seeks after great unique food in a world full of bland chains and crappy Tex-Mex give this place a shot! You won’t regret it! Support local businesses and good food!

Excellent happy hour specials, as I’m currently enjoying $ 2 drafts! Free apps to choose from when seated at the bar or on the patio. We’ve been trying a new one for every two we buy, cuz the drinks are so affordable! And every time we order another beer, it’s in a different shaped glass. This on top of the groovy appetizer«bowls» and menus on touchscreen tablets. I can tell this restaurant is not afraid of change; as they are responding to previous posts by improving service and addressing customer requests. The music is funky too! Very eclectic. We’ll be back, thanks!

Quite possibly the weirdest«concept» and definitely the worst Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. First of all, this location used to be a Denny’s and subsequent restaurants have failed because the area is not as accessible to passersby. They’ve added outdoor seating and a bar and lots of black paint, but it still resembles a dinky old diner. As for the rest of the set-up: Waitresses must wear these god-awful tight mini-dresses. I think they’re aiming for some sort of stereotypical Latin-flavor, but I found it insensitive and unnecessary. Somehow, the female bartender was exempt from the unflattering, skimpy dresses. Plus, they’re using iPad or tablets as menus which is a bit strange. I’m all for technology, but most places have menus that get replaced or revamped or cleaned regularly. How many grubby fingers have swiped before me? Our waitress was nice, but incompetent. We didn’t get silverware until our food had begun to turn cold. You don’t automatically get chips and salsa. I repeat: you have to order chips and salsa. Chips were really fresh, but the portion was small. They were served in a cone shaped device with salsa in a tiny, TINY condiment dipper. Since this was looking pretty disastrous from the moment I sat down, I ordered something simple: chicken tortilla soup. Wrong. So wrong. It was made with a tomato base that had the flavor and consistency of SPAGHETTI O’s. Nasty. And they must’ve blended it using an immersion blender because I couldn’t make out any of the ingredients. Naturally, every person at our table had terrible things to say about their food. I promised I’d Unilocal about it!

The first thing I noticed was the dining area and kitchen we very clean. The dining area included several booths and high tables, along with a good sized outdoor eating patio with several heaters. The menu is on an individual Ipad and given promptly when seated and has a good mix of seafood and Mexican food(central Mexico, not Tex-Mex). My lunch companion and I started our meal with chorizo stuffed jalapeños with Oaxaca cheese on a bed of refried black beans served with tortillas. The stuffed jalapeños were tasty and not greasy at all, Chorizo creates a lot of grease when cooked, and the beans were good. I had the pineapple scallops pan seared and served with a brandy pineapple cream sauce and vegetable and rice which were a pleasant surprise and tasty. Companion has Ceviche Jarocho made with Tilapia in a fresh lime juice marinade, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeños, and topped with fresh sliced avocado and two tostadas. I got a taste of the ceviche and it was really good. Overall a very good meal. The staff was attentive but not hovering, prices were not cheap but not unreasonable for the portions given. This is not your ordinary Tex-Mex food. Definitely worth a try.
