Augh – the truck stop where you can
* fill up or wash your tractor-​trailer
* eat out of little skillets from a buffet that wishes it were as good as a Golden Corral (and all that implies, and not in a good way)
* take a shower (i’m not even kidding, but hey truckers need showers too!)
* get an order of Popeye’s chicken
* browse from a variety of tacky truck stop tchotchkes suitable for anyone with bad taste
yes, this place where my parents loved to go eat back in the 80s is still here and hasn’t changed a bit, including those little iron skillets. and the clientele. and the smell.
