Any other day I would give this place 5 stars but today they had one young girl working all three registers at once… I kid you not!!! Very impressive on her part but made me mad when the manager looked annoyed that he finally had to come over to help. But as usual food was great and tea(though very hot) was good!!!

I think we’ve driven an hour just to get sweet tea from here. Great spot for lunch. Don’t forget to get one of their melt in your mouth mega rice Krispy treats either.

I like this place. Simple, straightforward, and you get what you ask for. I also got a brownie and it was amazing!

Don’t order adagio bisque… made my throat swell. Didn’t refund soup… gave us 2 get out of pay free. Would have preferences money back for soup only.

Delicious, fresh, REAL food! It’s so nice to have found a place that serves healthy-tasting food my toddlers will actually eat! I had the orange cranberry club— it is amazing! The employees are very helpful and friendly! We will be back!

Great food as always! Couldn’t convince my son to eat his grilled cheese because it looks a little different than his mom makes. I tried it and it was good. Wife loved her grilled chicken salad and I had The New Yorker. Other son had the club sandwich.

Love the baked potatoes! I’ve tried almost all of them, but my favorite is the spud max. My husband goes back and forth between the big nasty and one of the club sandwiches. He always cleans his plate, whichever he orders. The staff is friendly, the dining room is always clean, and the sweet tea is on point! I will continue to come back here.

For a Deli, «Wow!» I haven’t had a bad item on the menu and as a self proclaimed foodie– I have tried quite a bit! My new favorite is the loaded spuds! The staff is friendly, they food is always fresh and the Ice Tea is some of the best anywhere! Did I mention the staff? They constantly have people working the floor, clearing your table and refilling drinks! I don’t get that good of service at 5 star restaurants! Highly recommended and definitely Two Thumbs up!

The soup was cold, and wait staff and management seemed reluctant to remedy this problem for me and for a gentleman at a nearby table. I received no apology, just excuses. This is unusual here, but perhaps it reflects an inability to keep up with business demand.

I always stop at McAlister’s for the iced tea. Delicious! The restaurant was easy to access from the highway and very quick with the food. My pecanberry salad was full of strawberries, blueberries and chicken. Worth the stop on your travels.

I have eaten at the McAlister’s in Arlington many times and was always very pleased, so we decided to grab some lunch on Sat., June 1, 2013 at 1:20pm at the Weatherford location. The place was crowded and noisy, but to be expected on a Saturday… Anyway, after ordering a French dip, a bowl of chicken tortilla soup, and 2 un-sweet, lake water tasting iced teas for $ 17.00(!!!) from a rather surly teen counter attendant, we sat patiently and waited for 15 minutes for our food. We were starving as we hadn’t eaten since dinner the night before. I took a bite of the French Dip… stone cold. The Au Jus was stone cold as well. The Chicken Tortilla soup contained neither chicken nor tortillas(actually it did have 3 small dice size pieces of chicken in the bowl… and yes, we counted in order to verify that our shock at the nerve of even calling it «chicken» was warranted and I don’t count Tostitos chips thrown on the side of the plate as «tortillas»!) The soup also was just barely warm and really nothing more than corn starch thickened chicken stock with some green bell pepper(which does not belong in tortilla soup !), a couple small dice pieces of carrot, a hint of Jalapeño dice, so cayenne for heat, and not much else. After flagging down a «dining room service assistant»(actually almost had to reach out and grab this guy to even get his attention !) and very politely informing him that the sandwich and au jus were cold(after all, he didn’t send it out that way so no need in being snippy to him), he just stared at me with that«what do you want me to do about it» look and proceeded to give nothing but BAD attitude and a dirty look aimed right at ME ! He thought I was just a pain in his butt ! How dare me ask for hot food ! He grudgingly took(actually, almost snatched) the sandwich, and turned to walk away but, alas, I had to stop him and ask him to take the cold Au Jus as well ! So, back to the kitchen he went, microwaved both, and returned less than 2 minutes later with a very soggy, still cold in the middle, and amazingly RUBBERY sandwich with steaming hot Au Jus. It wasn’t even worth asking him to warm the soup… It was too disgusting to eat($ 5.00 for a small bowl of thickened chicken broth !). As another reviewer noted, this location is lacking, and that is really a very kind way of putting it. It’s just plain terrible. It’s lacking in quality of food and staff, in quantity of food, and in professionalism. The only things that weren’t lacking were the price tag and the bad attitudes. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this location, ever. There needs to be some serious customer service training and kitchen training and the manager needs to either step up or step out because it’s painfully obvious he hasn’t done and isn’t doing his job ! There is certainly no shortage of other options in the immediate area and I strongly suggest choosing one of the other options !!! Your wallet won’t be as empty and your taste buds won’t be as abused and insulted. You probably won’t leave as hungry as my soup ordering friend did either…

I eat here frequently and the food is consistent, staff is decent and it’s always clean. Great for to-go orders or quick lunches. Typically most busy on Sunday afternoons(church crowd). It’s open later than most places in town on the week days, which is nice if you want something a step up from fast food. Kids menu is very cheap.

I have loved McCalisters for years, but this location is certainly lacking. The service was not as friendly as other locations I have been to, and the portions were small. On top of that, they seems offended that my daughter and I were sharing a small scoop of salad instead of ordering a full meal each. That tiny scoop of chicken salad was $ 5! What they didn’t know was that we were just having a light lunch because we had a big early dinner planned. RUDE! I agree, overpriced too.

So I have eaten here a couple of different times and each time I find the same thing — the prices are too high and the portions are too small. The food is good enough but you will find your growing boys will leave hungry or you have to buy more to fill them up. With the other options in town, this is NOT a place I bring the family… they just don’t get filled up!
