This is one of my favorite places to go in the summer. My wife and I bike on the luce line from GV and stop for a coffee and enjoy the lake. The kids like watching all the fancy dogs that walk by and I have to say I enjoy the car watching. Good coffee too

I know this is a chain… but I still love it. This location is my favorite. My friends and I refer to this one as «the original Caribou» or «the first Caribou Coffee.» Whether this is true or not, it’s fantastic. When it’s nice out grab an iced beverage and head to one of the tables outside or the benches across the street. Also, this sort of goes without saying, but I really like that this location seems to have their beverages down. They can make the most intricate coffee-snob drink to order, not burn the coffee of the day, and even pack my hot tea to-go so it doesn’t end up all over my shirt at first sip. An added perk — check out the book store connected to this ‘Bou. It’s wonderful as is the sales staff.

I think this is one of my favorite Caribous. Certainly beats the hell out of the one near me which can’t make a simple latte without burning the espresso. Why do I like this one? Well, it’s familiar, for one. This location is among the first and it was a definite go-to spot growing up(and it still is). Secondly, it’s located right across from Minnetonka, providing unobstructed views of the lake. Oh, and most importantly, they make a damn good latte.
