Real good food with flavor. Choose your level of spice, mild-plus was plenty hot! Very friendly staff. We’ll come again!

Ok Indian food. Good thing about lunch buffet is the fresh naan and a chat option. briyani is terrible and rice is always dry. Curry and entrees are ok.

Place is hit or miss. The other night I got 4 meals to go. They were all bland and completely flavorless. I have had good experience here but this last time left me with a bitter taste. As 1 example the chicken tikka masala was like chicken in a can of squashed tomatoes.

A group of my co workers met here for dinner. It was in an interesting location and didn’t look appealing from the outside. However it was unique on the inside. Old Indian restaurant décor. Interesting, but don’t expect a new fancy interior. We were very pleased with the food. The vegetable samosas were the best I’ve had. And the Palak Paneer was creamy and flavorful. I had the Chicken Masala, which didn’t have the same quality as the rest of the food. My co worker tried the Tandoori Lamb. From the look on my his face, he was very pleased. I will come back if I’m in the area.

There are many Indian restaurant options in the Twin Cities but Bukhara Indian Bistro is one of the great ones. My wife and I have had many of the curries and love the flavor and spice levels. The service has also been great every time. The naans aren’t my favorite, though I’ve struggled to find great ones anywhere in the Twin Cities.

Good Indian food. Not too spicy(never asked for spicy, perhaps it would be upon request). Good portions as well.

We’ve eaten here a few times. Generally, the food is delicious and service is prompt. Our favorite dishes here are the vegetable curry and shrimp kashmiri. The mango lassis are really good and so are the samosas.

Came here on a Friday afternoon for the lunch buffet. The service was fantastic, everyone was very helpful, quick to refill waters and take plates. It came out to be a little over $ 11 for the lunch, plus tip. Plenty of space in the dining area, so they can accommodate groups and kids. I thought the food was okay — they do have a lot of vegetarian options, which sets it apart from other Indian restaurants. The vegetarian options were also pretty tasty, including their saag paneer and this tofu tomato dish. They had about 5 – 8 vegetarian dishes available, not including the desserts and salads. For meats, they had chicken makhani, beef curry, tandoori chicken, and a couple other chicken dishes. These dishes were less impressive — the chicken makhani and beef curry were both good, but the rest were pretty dry and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. For dessert, they had rice pudding, mango pudding with cocktail fruit mixed in, and the minced carrot dessert, all of which tasted pretty standard. I would say this food was good but it wasn’t as authentic or as spicy as I was expecting. They don’t rush you at all though so it’s a great place to catch up with friends and it doesn’t seem to get super busy.

****This review is from my trip in May ’15. I sincerely hope things have changed now.**** Food: vegetarian is avg Service: ok Food delivery: quick Don’t ever try to be there after 9PM. They are in a mighty hurry and rush you to: 1) order quickly(which is understandable) and 2) eat quickly and leave(which is not OK). Vegetarian Biryani was below average. I have eaten better Biryani in other places. Paneer Tikka Masala was good. Food came in no time which is the saving grace. One of the waiters(Bangladeshi dude) needs people skills. Or maybe he doesn’t care abt pleasing Desis. Many restaurants aim to please only non-Desis and I wonder if these guys belong to the same category. I am not going back!

We came on a Saturday around noon. This place got great reviews through the IHG Dining Club so I had my hopes up pretty high. We were disappointed. Not only was most of the food crusty on top from sitting there, cold in the steam tables, but the flavor just wasn’t there. This bland affront to Indian cuisine was hardly palatable. Frozen naan, halua that was 99% mushed carrot string… just not that good. Steer clear, I’ve had much better even in the Twin Cities.

Was CRAVING a chicken tiki masala… omg… im kicking myself that this is less than 5 blocks from me and I haven’t had it in years. I will be ordering weekly now! Food was amazing. Will order it spicier next time. I was a little chicken. My fault! Sorry no pics! Ate it in bed while working on my son’s senior scrapbook. Next time

Best Indian food in the area! I spent time in northern and southern India and this authentic Indian food is definitely on par. Affordable & delicious. If I have a craving for Indian food this is my go-to restaurant. Had great service on each visit, even after 9 p.m. as it neared closing.

Their food is really really good and spicy means spicy. The location is in a small strip mall off highway 12. Its not going to wow you from the outside. The inside is nice though. Not very busy but it was a Monday night. Thats surprising given how good the food was. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and I would definitely get it again. I asked for it spicy and it was actually spicy unlike a lot of places in MN. I like it hot and it was definitely that and I loved it. Great curry flavor too. The garlic naan and house sauces were great additions. The chicken tandoori came out on a sizzling platter and was also really good. Ill be back very soon.

Nice ambiance with beautiful Tiffany-style ceiling lamps. Varied menu with generous vegetarian options. Not a good place for kiddos, as they have no child-friendly menu. My suggestion to Bukhara: stash some Mac & Cheese in the kitchen for a backup plan.

This happen a couple of months ago. The worst service ever! I was told to hurry up and eat fast because it was 9:30 pm and it was almost time to close. The couple in front of us ask for dessert and were told this was not an American restaurant . When I complained to the manager that the waiters were being rude, they all laugh about it. Okay food nothing amazing about this place.

Be aware that weekday lunch is buffet only, not full menu. That didn’t bother me as I intended to try the buffet anyway. The buffet selection was excellent and included beef curry, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, matar paneer, chana masala, chicken vindaloo, mango pudding, and pistachio rice pudding. There were many other vegetable dishes, salad, and of course a few types of rice, but I stuck to the proteins mainly. All tasted fresh and was well flavored. The server also brings naan bread to your table. All of this for $ 9.50! A great value given the food quality and selection. I intend to return again for lunch, and perhaps for dinner to try out some of the lamb dishes. Overall, an experience with nothing to complain about.
