Cool place… Meatball sub is awesome… very popular place among locals and tourists!!!

Good local fare that is consistent and reasonably priced. Homespun décor in Waynesville. Good lunch place with reasonable service.

Visitors beware! They only take cash or check… And don’t tell you until you order and then there’s a convenient ATM next door. One in our group literally had her salad made wrong twice. A did you order something with blue cheese except lots of dressing and no crumbles.

Best pizza in town, great local beer selection, and a good variety of menu items for the people who would prefer something else. I’ve never had anything here I didn’t enjoy, and the waitresses are always great.
You can build your own pizza, or select one of Nick and Nate’s signature pizzas. Honestly, you can’t go wrong either way.
They also offer Subs, Burgers, pasta, wings, desserts, and your usual fried apps (Mozz sticks, onion rings, etc.)

Our second visit to Nick and Nate’s. This time we tried the pizza and also had onion rings. Both were amazing. The pizza was not salty like so many places. The cheese was abundant and fresh. The sauce was not overwhelming and the crust was very crisp on the bottom but still with a slight chew. Nice ratio of toppings to crust.
The onion rings were again great but the order is overpriced and the spicy ranch was way too salty. They were worth the extra buck as a side to a sandwich but very pricey as an appetizer.
Nice selection of beers as always and noticed that they even had a hard cider this time.
Biggest disappointment was not finding out that they are no longer accepting credit cards until the end of the meal.

We stopped in quite late, just 5 minutes before closing in fact, and staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating!
Look forward to another visit.

Cool place… amazing pizza (had Nathan’s favorite) and super nice folks! Onion rings were on point too. Highly recommend this place to craft beer lovers, they had a great selection of local craft brews and a few national craft brews too. If I had more hands I’d give this place four thumbs up!

Awesome times 5. Light crust well made and tons of ingredients. Downtown Waynesville, NC. If you are in the are visiting, or just passing through the area swing on in. Neat little shops around the place to visit. The staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations. I know I’m headed back for another visit before I leave the area! The taste was awesome and the place is a warm quaint place. Has a buffet as well as an option.

We got our food to-​go. Medium Barnyard pizza and 6 wings. Boyfriend devoured the pizza when we got back to the hotel. Good amount of meat and cheese. Not too greasy. Lots of cheese! Wings were large. The crust on the pizza was nice. Paired very well with the blue cheese from the wings.

Nick and Nate’s pizzeria was a perfect meet up spot to meet an old friend and his family (Okay, the initial meet was scheduled to give him his case of Great Lakes Beer he can’t get in NC, but that’s just a side note!). His kids and wife in tow and our quest to share a beer together led is here for lunch. We were quickly seated at a table and given the run down on the menu, the buffet, and the beers on tap (which happens to be the only way they serve them).
Our friend ordered local something with the word smoke in… It definitely had a smoked taste to it. Interesting, but not up my alley. I stuck with a Highland Gaelic Ale that I enjoy.
We all chose the buffet which consisted of fresh salad, a variety of their basic pizzas, hot meatloaf, a variety of hot sides and 2 kinds of soup. It suited our conversational needs. Salad was good, pizza was devoured by the kids with smiles and it was keep hot and fresh on the bar. The vegetable beef soup was seriously outstanding! I encouraged all to get some (adults did, kids went for the also available chocolate cake). Other patrons around us ordered some sandwiches that also looked very size able and tasty.
I would definitely look at this as another time spot to meet. We were never rushed and were able to enjoy a nice little visit!

Seriously, INCREDIBLE! The pizza is amazing, I love this place! I love how it’s right in the downtown shopping area and the restaurant is so cozy!

Good food– but have not accepted any form of Credit or Debit card in weeks. How does an established restaurant only accept cash or check for weeks?! not a good sign…

Was one of few places open Sunday. Kids ate from Pizza buffet ($ 4.25 for kids 3 and up). Pizza was ok, but the gourmet pizzas looked much better. I had the «Feeling Blue» chicken sandwich which was excellent.

The food and service is fantastic, but be careful to have a reservation… and they will not honor a reservation for the next day. The pizza was incredible and unique, the meatball sandwich was the very best ever! Spinach artichoke dip was excellent. Philly cheese steak was better than Penn Station. Great beer selections.

Came here with high hopes but left disappointed. It was busy and the staff did good job of accommodating out large party. Nobody ordered pizza. We got burgers and sandwiches. The burgers were fair and the ribeye sandwich was very good. The fries were an upcharge but we’re terrible. Cold and soggy.
The pizza on other tables looked really good and it made us wish we had tried that.
Our service was bad. Half our party got their food 10 minutes later. Our server refiled our drinks by filling another glass with soda and no ice, and processing to ration it out into our own glasses.
Maybe it was a fluke, maybe we should have ordered pizza. but we weren’t impressed.

The pizza here is amazing! This little hole in the wall restaurant puts out some killer pies!

1. Friday night– 6:30– place packed– got seated at unique short bar instantly — great hand crafted beer selection on tap. Friendly staff– great menu.

3.we ordered the BBQ chicken. Specialty pizza — of which I am a bit of a snob for this type of pizza. Far exceeded my expectations!

I don’t give out a lot of 5 stars, and this is really a 4.5. Laid back atmosphere, beautiful mountain scenery right outside the door, friendly service, a clean environment, and delicious pizza.
The kids had the standard cheese and of course no complaints. The wife and I ordered a specialty pizza called the Nantahala, with an olive oil base. Just enough feta to give it great flavor without overpowering. The salad bar was delicious but I thought a bit pricey. My wife said it was reasonable for dinner hour.
The bottom line: I will gladly return and overall the meal was fantastic, and
within a middle class budget.

Food was great! Had just spent 3 hours rafting at Pigeon River and we were STARVING! Wings were great-​love the flavor of the blazing sauce
Mushrooms were tasty. My philly steak sub was excellent. Pizzas are great sized and very cheesy! And their hamburgers-​yum! Definitely recommend this place
The husband loves that they only serve microbrews. And not that pricey-​very reasonable!
