I really liked the décor and layout of the restaurant. It seemed spacious though tables were fairly close. I had the red curry mild spice with tofu. It was still pretty spicy which I like, but glad I didn’t get one higher. The dish was a bit salty, but very good. It even had eggplant which was good.

Pleasant atmosphere. Tried the Tom Kha soup and I’ve had amazing Tom Kha soup in the past and this was something other than amazing; completely off by comparison in my experience. The Pad Thai was mediocre. The noodles were a little still with just something missing, probably flavor. Thank goodness for the hot Thai Spice level otherwise I might not have tasted much. The good news is that the portions are quite large so leaving hungry will not be a problem but leaving satisfied may be. Buyer beware.

Had lunch with my hubby a week or so ago and our visit was enjoyable enough to encourage neighbors to join us a few days later. Four diverse people with an equal number of pallet preferences had a lot of fun sorting out the menu options with our waitress, who patiently and with good humor helped us choose. Deciding on our drinks was much easier. The long and short of it was that there was something for everyone and everyone(including a guest at another table, a well known local chef) cleaned their plates.(Except me. The portion was big enough for the next day’s lunch bag.) The Asian options in our area are mostly lackluster. Blossom on Main stands out above the crowd.

Ate here on 2÷20÷16. The restaurant featured a pleasant décor and nice staff, but the food was a complete disappointment. This is simply not authentic Thai food. It was bland and tasteless, which are two words that would never be used to described real Thai food.

I came here one day on a whim and I’m glad I did! Everybody was very friendly and the food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. I will stop again the next time I’m in town.

Very good. This place is my sisters favorite restauraunt, and for good reason. The food is very flavorful, the portions large, and service friendly, though not the quickest. Definitely worth it.

Like a typical Asian restaurant this place was open on Christmas eve. Since the change in owners, the food has declined. My favorite dish is that chicken pad Thai it’s supposed to be a somewhat sweet dish and it was under the old owners. Under the new owners however, the dish is bland. The service however is always great. And the servers have come to known my employers and myself quite well. So much so that they recognize our business line when we call and greet us very warmly. It is my hope that in the future, I will try this place again and that the food will not disappoint and the service will remain as it has — — excellent!

I had the red curry beef and it was killer. Very authentic and the price and service was great. I also enjoyed the calamari with the plum sauce. Yum.

Have eaten at this establishment on several occasions. The food was much better under previous management/owners. The management now is not nice to customers and very slow to serve. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

My husband and I dined here for lunch. The service was poor. The recipes were not only not authentic, they were also not tasty. The owner came to our table when the server informed her that we were not too happy with the food. The owner chatted it up remarkably but this didn’t do anything to change our opinion of the food. In fact, her too lengthy excuses further tarnished an already«iffy» dining experience. In the meantime, her comments made it obvious that she didn’t know anything about Thai food and the chef was doctoring the recipes to fit«the local market,» meaning the unsophisticated palates of the indigenous white population. The owner claimed the cook was a «master Thai chef.» Bosh! I had nam sod which was mostly iceberg lettuce and very, very dry. It was made of finely ground chicken instead of pork and had an awful texture. The server forgot to bring the sauce and when it finally came, it was sweet, had no kick and did not taste good at all. My husband expected a filling soup for the price and was instead presented with a puny clear soup in an awkward small square bowl with a couple of shrimp and no noodles. The owner made several negative comments about the reputation of Thai Spice, the name of the Thai restaurant that was located at the same address. In my opinion, only the décor of this restaurant is an improvement. Thai food is an acquired taste. We suggest that this restaurant educate their market if they expect to create a loyal following for wonderful authentic Thai cuisine. We might return if the changes she promised are actually made but this restaurant has a long way to go.

Friendly and inviting staff. Owner brought us saki after short conversation before our meal. All of the group had wonderful meals. I will most likely come back when I am in Waynesville next.

The spring rolls were great! My meal thumbs down. I asked for mild — my food was bland so much so I couldn’t eat it.

This restaurant has really good food, so that is what the stars are for. Sadly, as someone who suffers from allergy induced asthma, I am unable to eat inside of the restaurant. I am sure that they think they are making it clean, but for those of us who literally can’t breath when being exposed to those really strong chemicals it makes it difficult. I’ve resorted to having to order food to-go when I want my Thai food fix. I know I’m not the only one who has noticed this change in cleaning products since the revamp of the restaurant. Others I have been with have noticed it too. Unfortunate, since food-wise it is one of my favorites in the area.

Blossom on Main offers delicious Thai food in a town where Asian choices are sorely lacking. Their menu is large without being overwhelming. Focusing on a smaller array of dishes allows the chefs to perfect each dish. The kitchen is flexible and willing to accommodate requests in the event of specific dietary requirements. They also offer choices for children that allow young folks to experience things that are adventurous but still slightly familiar. I have eaten at Blossom several times for both lunch and dinner. The dining room is spacious and comfortable. There is seldom a wait and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be that the staff frequently seems overwhelmed and scattered. Perhaps they are understaffed or maybe the division of labor needs to be reviewed, but fixing this one small issue would really make Blossom perfect.

Went for dinner and wasn’t disappointed. Very tasty with just the right amount of heat. I ordered the Red Curry medium. The wait staff suggested mild as the red curry has enough heat on its own. She was right. It was delish and with just the right amount of spice. This restaurant has been on Main St for a few years and my sons and I had been when it first opened. Glad it stuck around as its only gotten better with time.

Excellent, ecclectic Thai food cooked to perfection in a pleasing and relaxing space. Service was top notch and everyone welcomed us with a smile and pleasant conversation. The owner, Julie, took time out of a busy evening to sit and chat with us as well. Amazing lady, amazing food and a perfect evening!

Had the Pad Pa Kaw for lunch today. The Tofu was nice and silky. I stop in at least a couple of times when we are in the mountains.

Blossoms on Main is great! The customer service is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is top notch. Our server recommended the duck, and while the rest of my party went different directions, I was glad I took the advice. I had it «hot» and that was exactly the right amount of spice for me. I’d pair it(or anything) with the Buddha beer. If you’re in the area this restaurant should be on your list.
