Sunglass Hut

How about this scam. I have bought numerous items at sunglass hut over the years and always have been satisfied. Bought my father a pair of Maui Jim’s he didn’t like. I went to return them and instead of swiping my cc and crediting the account they filled out a manual sales receipt form my full cc number, exp date, etc. Took 10 minutes (no joke) and walked out with the old school paper and something just didn’t feel right. I turned and went back in the store and questioned why the carbon copy slipped stated «Manual Sales Receipt Form» not credit. The sales girl said I can write it on their if you want? Bottom line I said credit me through the register, they same way you did when I paid for them. The answer «we don’t do that on Saturdays». I’m sure. After I questioned that idiotic statement the credit the $ 379 the normal way and it took all of 30 seconds. I’m not saying they were looking to steal my credit card #, but I would be shocked if they weren’t playing some kind of commission game at the end of the month. Waste of valuable time..
