great bread and friendly service — including a free slice of bread on entry!

This place used to be called Great Harvest Bread Company. When you walk in, they give you unlimited free samples. The bread is very good and flavorful. The cinnamon bread is very good. Nothing bad can be said about this place, but it is nothing special, just bread.

Breads abound in this bright and pristine bakery. The scent of freshly baked breads wafts through the air, beckoning you in to sample the day’s offerings. Staff is so warm and friendly and the breads are so delightful. Stop in, sample and buy. Delicious!

Cute bakery with very friendly staff. When you walk in, they offer you a complimentary slice of one of their breads, which is nice but also makes you feel inclined to buy something. So my husband and I, who had wandered in from the hotel across the street, got a blueberry muffin and a scone. The baked goods look fresh, but you’re given one wrapped in plastic instead of the fresher seeming ones that are out. Both the scone and the muffin were terrible. The muffin was dense, chewy, and not sweet enough. The scone was marginally better, but had unsweetened berries and tasted off, like there was garlic in it. We both threw them out without finishing. Don’t waste your money or calories here!

This place is great. Love their special breads: easter and xmas breads with the icing. Monkey bread is also great. Good coffee. Tasty cookies. The servers are all helpful and friendly as well. Stop in for a sample!

The scones are absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh made and you can try the breads before you pick one(or more) out. Sandwiches are very good too. The staff is very friendly, nice, and helpful. Definitely check it out.

1. You will be tempted to buy everything the moment you step into the shop!(DELICIOUS) 2. Its very hard to pick out what to take home with you. 3. Their pre-made sandwiches are great — quick and easy on the go. Go! You won’t be sorry.

Being new in town, I was gifted with a bottle of wine and a Spring Mill cinnamon bread. From then, I was hooked. The varieties of breads, scones, muffins, rolls and sandwiches Spring Mill offers are fantastic as are the people who work there! Highly recommend!

Just moved to Wayne and stopped in the other day in search of a good multigrain loaf of bread… and ended up with two amazingly delicious muffins(pumpkin and banana chocolate chip), two savory rolls(«grilled cheese» and pepperoni), a massive free-sample hunk of monkey bread(cinnamon bread to die for), a few cookies and yeah, a delicious multigrain loaf. Yum, yum, yum! I’ll be back!

This place is absolutely amazing. I don’t visit too many places worth me taking the time to write a review, but this place definitely deserves one. The service is impeccable, regardless of whether it is some of their younger staff, or if it is the owner herself, who I had the pleasure of meeting this morning. Every time I have walked in, I have been promptly greeted and offered a slice of anything I would like to try — and the sample they give you is a surprisingly large slice. Not many places do that. I haven’t tried anything and not liked it. Their cinnamon swirl bread and monkey bread are second to none and their scones are the perfect blend of salty and sweet. Prices are good for the quality and quantity that you’re receiving. I can’t wait to go back and try something else!

I have Celiac so I am only basing this review on the service and the 2 gluten free options they offer. The girl behind the counter was so incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about Celiac and their products. The flour less chocolate cookie was amazing! My boyfriend who can eat whatever he wants said it was his favorite out of the 3 other non gluten free cookies he tried. Thanks for offering these options and for being so helpful!

The two stars are for the service. These women were wonderfully accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. They want you in their store ansbthat comes through. Unfortunately the things they make are awful. The taste of bread they provided(honey whole wheat) had been baked to within an inch of its life and required water to choke it down. The muffins, I live blueberry muffins, are dense and while full of fruit surprisingly bland and distasteful. The muffin was«gluey» and overly dense. They do serve La Colombe coffee so there is that. I’m not sure how old this location is as this is the first I’ve seen of it.

It is important to note that this Spring Mill Bread is NOT a café like some of their other locations. Sadly we were under the impression that it was when we stopped in a few weeks ago in hopes of getting a nice sandwich and maybe some soup(the website seems to have changed since the last time I looked at it and is a bit more clear now). Anyway, they did have a few sandwiches available in their cold case but they didn’t appeal to us, so we had to go elsewhere for lunch. However, we did sample several of the breads(the herb bread that I sampled was really good) and picked up a few baked goods while we were there. I chose the honey wheat bread which was very good but I later wished I had gone with the herb bread that I had sampled while I was there. I also got a few of their grilled cheese rolls which were really good and very nice heated up later. The women who waited on us were friendly and knowledgeable, so all in all, it was a nice place that I would definitely go back to — just not for lunch.

Morning glory muffins are healthy and delicious. Every bread I’ve tried has been great; whole wheat herb, apple, monkey bread, farm white. Scones are killer. This is a terribly dangerous place… so much delicious bread. And La Colombe which I don’t like but a lot of people do. Edited review: male owner was a little overly aggressive in asking for email and snail mail address when buying this morning. Also he gave me a blueberry muffin instead of a blackberry scone. Bummer.

Local store with fresh, tasty bread. Staff immediately greeted me as I walked in. Beautiful store with items on display arranged neatly for ease of ordering. Whole wheat(9-grain, I think) is wonderful. As a previous review proposed, they now put bread on a paper bag with a plastic bag to put it in once at home when bread has cooled. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie as my dessert for lunch, good, but different. Hard to explain. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

I don’t get to the mainline very often. I was driving by, saw the«now open» sign and immediately pulled into a spot out front. The super friendly staff immediately offers you a sample of your choice of one of the daily breads. I tried the cinnamon crunch. It was tasty, and the cinnamon topping was delicious, but the bread itself was still a bit wet and underdone. I purchased a loaf of multigrain, sliced, as well as two grilled cheese rolls and a blackberry scone. The multigrain is good(not great,) the scone moist and delicious, and the grilled cheese rolls were to die for!!! A chewy roll stuffed with American cheese and a a crispy bottom. Absolutely delicious! Just one tip for the staff: if a bread is still warm(even slightly,) place it in a paper bag and include a plastic bag so your customer can bag it up once it’s completely cool. When I got home and pulled the loaf out of the shopping bag, the sealed bag was completely sweaty… makes for soggy bread. All in all, I look forward to returning to try some other things.
