MOD Pizza

Okay, I wrote a long, eloquent, frankly brilliant review of their other local location. Here? Ditto. Good food! Fast! Almost too fast. It’s a really nice atmosphere that you don’t want to rush to leave. Spare, clean, basic, but great music and a friendly staff make it a great place to hang. There must be a million different pizza combinations, and I’m looking forward to trying each one. Marianne​and I ate here earlier tonight. Now this location is run by one of the finest managers I’ve worked with in my thirty-​five years in the business. Matt also happens to be one of the finest human beings that I’ve known, so going to his pizza place was a double bonus for me. The pizza is really good. No, it’s not flatbread pizza, but it is thin crust, and the wide variety of toppings available make for a tasty, fun, and unique dining experience. Everybody should give it a try. It’s not going to replace your favorite pizza place, but can co-​exist along side, and complement it nicely. I live two doors down from the original Gaetanos, widely considered the best pizza in Delco. Oh, I’ll still get pizza there, but I’ll also be frequenting MOD Pizza for a fun change of pace. Try it. Tell them Pat sent you. It won’t get you anything more than an awkward stare, but the thought of people going in and actually saying «Pat sent me» makes me giggle.

Very kid-​friendly (smaller sizes), fresh ingredients, delicious pizza, extremely friendly staff! Wide variety of toppings available, drink selection is also excellent! Parking is ample, which is rare in the area. Plenty of comfortable seating as well. Milk shakes were also a big hit!

I should preface this review by noting that I like my pizza with thin crust and lots of fresh vegetables. So, for me, Mod was a great find, and I go out of my way to pick up my pizzas here. I also appreciate being able to order online and have my pizzas ready upon arrival. But my review is actually the result of great service: I’m sure there have been growing pains. Sometimes they are slammed with people, and sometimes it’s a complete ghost town. But employees have always been friendly and polite, and our orders almost always on point. On one of those busy days we arrived on time and there were so many folks in the restaurant the online orders were backed up. The manager seemed sincerely mortified, and not only comped our pizzas, but ensured they were made immediately, and treated us to a beverage while we waited — for a mere 10 minutes. I appreciate that effort, and Mod remains my go-​to pizza place.

I’m pretty addicted to this mod pizza concept of building your own pizza where u get a chance to build your own pizza knowing your calories count. You can avoid the heavy calories by avoiding heavy ingredients like cheese n other stuff. Best way to keep u healthy at the same time satisfy your taste buds.
I love my own build pizza I can try different ingredient for different flavor n taste.
Taste is totally depends up on your own chosen ingredients. N one more thing it’s pretty quick done under 5 to 10min

This MOD is the best place to go in Wayne!!! They have amazing customer service and are so friendly, accommodating and personable. So thankful for their kindness. Shout out to Matthew Piltz who made my day with that kick ass vanilla milkshake! And to the girl who gave us endless balsamic samples, you are the bomb. Can’t wait to return ASAP!!! MOD pizza was a really good choice made after viewing some restaurants in the area on Unilocal.As others have mentioned, there are three size choices. I got the Mod (medium)choice and my fiancé got the mega. Mine was big enough to save half for later. The mega was a plain 11″ pizza with sauce then topped with another pizza crust which had the actual toppings. I got the gluten free crust which was good– still thin/​crispy style like the regular crusts. We both ordered off of the suggested menu (mad dog and lucy sunshine). Both pizzas were great! They also had nice iced tea and lemonade choices.

This place seems to be relatively new on the pizza map, as far as I can tell. Their pizzas are top notch! In addition to the pizzas on the menu, you can create your own pizza with a nice variety of ingredients. They have three different sizes which can fit any appetite, and they also have breadsticks, salads, and milkshakes.
Please check this place out if you like pizza in any degree… and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?

my friend moved to Wayne earlier this year and this was her first time trying to location. I think it’s a cool concept you select: pizza or salad the size: mini = 6 inch or side salad, Mod= 11 inch or entrée salad or mega = Double 11 inch crust or family size salad. You can choose from their classic pizzas (or salads) or build your own (which we both did). My friend also got a Mega Salad. Crust is thin and light. Toppings galore and you can have whatever you want same price. They do have a cheese pizza which is a «maddy» and a lower price than the Mod. Also, if you need a gluten crust add $ 2.00. They also have bottled sodas, fountain soda/​teas and milkshakes. Employees were friendly, food was fast and restaurant was clean.

I am editing my review. After my disappointing experience and receiving the wrong pizza, MOD sent me a gift card so I could come back. I ordered the Dominic (no red onions) and I was not disappointed. Customer service is equally as important as quality of food. I’ll be back again very soon.
MOD — I wanted to love you so much and you almost had me… until I got home with my pizza and instead of the dominic that I was drooling over, you gave me a boring old plain pizza. Le sigh. It wasn’t even crowded. To whomever ended up with my custom dominic — I hope it ended up tasting as good as it looked. That being said, the plain was pretty good.

What is this hell? No its mod pizza and its tiny and miserable. They have small pizzas, which is ok, but they totally botched my order and splashed it with miserable toppings. Me and my two best friends felt insane after, and the pizza bot would stick his hands in the oven and scream «comin up» every damn minute. Mod experience is insane and worth 3 stars.

This place is awesome. The staff was friendly and greeted me as I walked in the place, made me feel at home. Pizza was good and loved the thin crust.

This pizza is just not good. The staff was friendly and the concept of building your own pizza is good. The «crust» is a flavorless cracker. I wouldn’t even call this pizza.

The pizza was OK. Toppings are good but the crust is pressed and ends up the consistency of a slightly undercooked thick tortilla — pasty instead of doughy. Staff was friendly.

What a neat concept topped off with fresh ingredients and an extremely friendly staff! I decided to make my own pizza and went with a supreme style with fresh basil and oregano on top. I was worried about a thin crust holding all the toppings, but it turned out great! The staff also recommended a milkshake and suggested a chocolate and strawberry combo. Being nine months pregnant, I found it hard to resist! I was so glad I didn’t because it didn’t even last me the drive home, it was that good.
While I briefly waited for my pizza to cook, all staff members were chatting me up on the baby and one even mentioned she delivered at the hospital I will be going to. They were just so friendly without coming off as fake or over the top, which can happen at some places.
Overall, I really enjoyed MOD and will be returning soon!!!

Love the concept and pizza was good. Lots of great toppings, service was quick and friendly. Only bad thing I have to say was the trash cans were full to overflowing. I will be back.

Great Place. Pizza is the best and the people who work there are crazy good people. This place really rocks me. Lets you have pizza exactly the way you want it and it is really fast and reasonably priced ! You cannot beat this place !!
