Very nice family, they are new owners. Chili dogs were good. I’m glad they have Stewart’s root beer. I have several ideas that I think would be really helpful, but for now I am I happy customer

Great little place. New owners. They now serve breakfast and they have sandwiches. Surprisingly clean considering from the outside it doesn’t look like much. We ate in. Good price and size. Consistent flow of customers which means inventory moves.

Good little cheap dog spot. Dogs were fresh and good. Good amount of parking and they do take credit cards now. Two dogs and a root beer for $ 6 can’t go wrong.

Yummy little dogs. You will likely want two or three due to their size but they are really good. Great place to stop for a quick snack.

Cash only? Who carries cash anymore Maybe that’s why the only hot dog place in the area is empty at noon?

If you like hot dogs and other cheap appetizer foods, then check this place out. They make good hot dogs for dirt cheap prices. They have a variety of different creations, such as the Tornado dog, which was chili, cheese, and potatoes on a hot dog. Super good, super quick little bite. They also serve chicken fingers, french fries, and other small side options as well for ‘save the bank’ prices. When you walk inside, you’re immediately in front of the counter viewing your options. Simple and clear menu. Commenting on the interior, expect to walk into a hot dog joint in Wayne. That’s all the description you need. I can’t remember if I’ve been to other hot dog restaurants, but when I do, I might come back to change this review. I just don’t know what to compare it to, but I definitely really liked it and expect other places to fall short.

I was in the mood for a couple hot dogs so I Unilocal’d and found this place. For a hot dog spot there is everything you’d want. Good tasting dogs, ample seating inside and out, friendly and quick service and very reasonably priced. I also like that they don’t try to do too much. I’ll be back !

Great spot for hot dogs! they serve sabretts pushcart style. plenty of toppings to choose from as well as fries and a few other menu items. its basically a tiny hole in the wall that serves as a hot dog truck. theres limited seating due to it being very small in there but there is also outdoor seating. most of the hot dog trucks serving sabrett hot dogs have disappeared in this area and this tiny restaurant is keeping that legend going. prices are good. and people are friendly. their hours are limited and its more of a lunch place, i think they close around 5?.. i havent been there in a few months but when i lived in lincoln park i frequented them often and they would close early especially in the winter. i was always a traditional kraut and mustard kind of guy. im not a fan of chili or cheese typically on dogs or even chili in general. well i once heard a guy order a dog with«mustard, cheese, and potato» i liked the combination of things just not sure if i would like them all together and especially on a hot dog. well guess what? it was awesome! i never stopped getting them! the only thing is make sure you get/ask for the fried potatoes because they have 2 kinds of potatoes and i once got the wrong ones and it wasnt nearly as good. the fried potatoes are like home fries almost. i know a dog with cheese, mustard and home fries sounds weird but believe me, i am picky as hell when it comes to food and its definitely an experience. ive turned some friends on to trying a dog that way and they loved it. a few friends also tried chili dogs and they said it was awesome! one of the few true push cart style spots around this area!
