On a business trip and LOVE sushi. So was excited to see favorable reviews for a place in Waycross. However, it was warm and sticky in the restaurant — not exactly the atmosphere you want for sushi. I’ll give them this… It was Monday night, late for dinner, so maybe they figured they were shutting down. I was greeted with a complimentary plate of some kind of fried sushi roll… I wasn’t very hungry so I just ordered a Salmon roll, a tuna roll and 4 pieces of salmon sashimi… The sushi rice in the rolls was dry and almost a little hard, which was disappointing because the actual fish was good. I ended up eating just the fish out of the rolls. On a positive note, the cuts of sashimi were HUGE and very tasty. Also, I ordered hot sake. The first carafe I got was luke warm and the waitress took away the carafe without asking if I was finished and I’m pretty sure there was some left in there! The second carafe was so hot I couldn’t pour it for a few minutes — and the outside of the carafe was sticky — I couldn’t wait to wash my hands when I got out of there. All in all, it’s the only sushi place in Waycross… Maybe I was expecting too much…

Growing up all over the country, I’ve had the opportunity to sample Asian food from corner to corner. I would have to say the environment was great. It had a very nice, intimate feel to it. The service was okay and the food was sub-par. It was a surprising find for such a small area. My friends LOVE going there and have no qualms about visiting. I suppose my experiences elsewhere spoiled me a bit. All in all, I would recommend this place, however, expect to pay a little more than what you may expect to get.

Seriously, who would have thought that one of the best sushi places in all of Georgia was in Waycross? I was happily surprised! A wide variety of rolls, fresh, perfect nigiri, and totally reasonable prices. The service is excellent, and their creative combinations are just as delicious as their California rolls. I am happy every time I get sent to Waycross, because it means that I get to visit Fancy Q. Tip: Go to this restaurant if you are in Waycross, it is the best.

Been here many times. It’s a favorite by many of the locals not just because it’s the only place to get sushi but they serve a large selection of tasty sushi rolls. Their service has always been good even on the busiest nights. Prices are very good as well. If you like japanese steakhouses you’ll like their food. Tip: The tiger roll is their most popular roll and very good.

Love the food and the staff. Quick service and terrific food. I have eaten here for months and they are very consistent. The sushi has been better than average to great on all occasions as well. On busy days, parking leaves something to be desired. Family friendly.

I went to Waycross on a business trip and I was craving sushi. I was trying to find something well known on Unilocal and this was one of them. I have to say that this place was awesome. The people who work here are all super friendly, and they weren’t upset that we rolled in at 9:59(they close at 10:30). I was surprised that they not only have a soup but they also gave us a tempura appetizer on the house after we had ordered. The rolls we ordered came quite fast and they were beautifully presented. Really a masterpiece. The food tasted as great as it looked! If I visit Waycross again I will most definitely come back and visit.
