Well apparently Waxhaw Creamery does not need any more business since I was told that they have not returned my voicemails because they are too busy. Even when I FINALLY spoke to an usually rude young lady and asked why my calls were not being returned, she stated that they were «too busy to answer the phone». I don’t own a business but I’m pretty sure that’s not how to run one!

Yay for local businesses as they make their ice cream in house. One of the few creameries in the Charlotte area. Located in downtown Waxhaw, it makes for an easy walk during a weekend antique shopping adventure.
We ordered the kiddie size salted caramel and it was a perfect size for one adult! We split it so it left us wanting more. Waxhaw, why so (relatively) far?!

Great ice cream, selection and staff. Really enjoyed a summer night getting ice cream and walking to the skate park to watch kids skate. Ice cream was delicious. We will go back before school starts!

Too many choices — do I get a sugar cone, a waffle cone, a cup. Which flavor? Choco chip, Birthday Cake, Mint, Caramel Swirl. All delicious and rich. Will be back soon!

Went to Carvel tonight, but they were out of our favorite flavors, so I looked on Unilocal for other ice cream places. I found Waxhaw Creamery and saw the great reviews. It totally lived up to the high rating. My husband had blackberry swirl and I had cherry vanilla. Everything is homemade and you could taste the difference. Delicious! We will definitely be back.

This place has the BEST ice cream! All flavors made right there. Prices are great! We paid $ 15 for 5 of us to enjoy homemade ice cream on crunchy sugar cones. Looking forward to coming back.

The shop is in historic downtown Waxhaw and you can head over to the skate park out behind the store when you are done.
They make all their own homemade ice cream there on site so it tastes much fresher than your average store bought ice cream. You can sample a flavor or two as well. Last time we popped over the gal was mixing up a fresh batch in front of us. Yum!

Fantastic! Had the cookies and cream which had half Oreo chunks. Companion had salted caramel swirl. Flavors were outstanding and ice cream was very fresh and creamy. I would drive to waxhaw just for this.
