Allstate Insurance: Kevin Godfrey

Kevin insures our home, rental property, and car. He keeps our rates reasonable, and does not inflate constantly like other companies I have used in the past. My husband use to work in the industry and feels very comfortable with our coverage– we definitely have things like collision! I hate to see one negative review impact him this much, because he has done such a good job for us.

Have you ever heard of a fraudulent insurance agent? I have. His name is Kevin Godfrey with Allstate. He claims to provide apples to apples insurance coverage, when in reality– he removes collision/​other coverages, in order to provide a lower quote. This practice is not isolated to me, I have learned a lot about his bad business practices this week. Additionally, he provides false information for homeowner policies in the Avenue Condos building. This building is not made of brick, it is fire resistant– which qualifies for a lower premium. Lastly, my dwelling coverage was at 1,000 versus 35,000! Due to Kevin Godfrey’s negligence — I unknowingly had no collision insurance on a vehicle for 2.5 years, even though the car was still required to have it– to be in compliance with the finance company requirements. If you have Kevin Godfrey as your agent, think twice and reevaluate your risk appetite before it’s too late!
