Real slow service! Not sure they have a clue what they are doing. Also really expensive. So what are you paying for?

if you don’t specify – upfront – the EXACT services you want to have done on your vehicle, then this crew will gladly clean out your wallet by using the most expensive oil and doing other services that you may or may not want. When I asked the mechanic why I wasn’t given options of cheaper or the more in-​depth services they offered, I was told «that’s how the owner requires that we conduct business.» Unless you like spending upwards of $ 75 or more on a basic oil & filter change, or getting a lovely, inflated surprise bill at checkout, pass this place by.
Out of curiousity, I checked the starting rate for an oil change at several other Kwik Kars (all of which are independently owned & operated, btw), and I found that the prices at this one were at least ten dollars higher than at the other locations in both Ellis & Dallas counties. Prices for a Mobile One oil change at the following Kwik Kar locations are as noted as of 7÷12÷2011−−

Also, beware the flashy scooters & ATV’s they have on display for purchase facing Ferris Avenue/​77. They are overpriced & of poor quality. A friend of mine bought one two months ago & has had to replace many parts on it since. While working on it, he discovered that it was manufactured in 2008! Pretty sad for a 2011 purchase; the owner (Gary Greenlee) didn’t reveal the age of the scooter prior to commencing the sale. Seems illegal to me, but I’m not a lawyer. At the very least, it’s poor business practices to sell a 3-​year old product & not reveal the age to the customer before finalizing the sale.
Additionally disappointing is hearing the way this owner speaks to his crew; very disrespectful and rude in his tone. It made me quite uncomfortable to see what appeared to be hardworking guys berated publicly by their leader. The employee turnover rate appears to be quite high; I’ve never seen the same face in this place twice.
Again, there are many other places to have your oil changed or other car services performed… vote with your dollars and don’t waste your time at this place.
