Always been a fan of HEB having lived in San Antonio for 10 years. I’ll never shop anywhere else. They stock Texas brands and have a great selection that has gotten even better since their expansion/remodel. I don’t see how Aldi & Minyards in Waxahachie stay in business, they are a joke; poor selection and just sad.

This is one of their«Plus» stores that carries food as well as clothing and housewares. There is a tortilla making area(the mitad y mitad are wonderful!) as well as a sushi and butcher section. The wine selection is amazing with a 10% discount offered if you purchase 6 bottles or more. The produce section offers house made guacamole(regular and spicy) as well as several packaged salads, veggie snacks, and fresh squeezed juices. The deli cuts meats and cheeses to order as well as stocking pre sliced options in the case. They also carry great rotisserie chickens, take n bake pizzas, as well as several snacks like olives and hummus. My one complaint is that HEB will place their store brand(Hill Country Faire) right at eye level on the shelf. If you want any other name brand you have to dig down at floor level or climb up high on the shelf.

I am a HUGE fan of HEB. I have two grocery stores within minutes of me and I still drive 20 minutes to the HEB in hachie. This HEB is always staffed by wonderful staff! They are cordial, attentive and helpful. The goods in stock are always great and there is a large variety.

The best grocery store! We were frequent shoppers at Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Albertsons… HEB wins hands down! Freshest groceries around and everything is fresh. We love it.

I am a lover of HEB in general, that is why this location is getting 2 stars instead of one. I went with my 2 small children, and needed help out bc the bags wouldn’t fit in the cart with my infants car seat. They got another cart for the bags, but with a manager standing right there the staff watched me push my kids in one cart and the bags in another out of the store by myself. If another customer hadn’t offered to help me at the front door I probably would have smashed into someone’s car! I’d definitely give that manager a big

This HEB has expanded and improved. They have a sushi station! They have fresh squeezed drinks to choose from in the produce section. In the wine and beer aisle the resident sommelier will give you some pointers. She’s usually there to help you out. We didn’t know HEB employed one until we bumped into her one evening. She recommended a great moscato. HEB has great food options and the prices are cheaper than many stores in Dallas. They don’t beat Winco but then again Winco doesn’t have great meat or produce. If you buy in bulk going to HEB in Waxahachie is well worth the drive.

Great store. Their produce is amazing, they have items I have never seen that are great. Everyday all day they make fresh hot tortillas that are amazing, the tortillas alone are worth making the trip to this store. The prices are a bit high but the customer service clean store and great products are worth it.

I travel here all the way from Dallas, for one item specifically, Sontava Habanero Hot Sauce. I have heard rumors about this brand being found up North of the Metropolex, but EVERYWHERE I have looked it’s been a No Dice. So here is the only place I know to find it, so I stalk up every time. I’m not a fan of Tabasco with its vinegar taste, and this stuff has none of that. They have XX&XXX kinds. Both have a nice kick. But anyway, I like the store itself. They do samples and have alot of fresh foods. Plus always seem to have some kind of good sales going on. Hope someday HEB will come to the Metropolex but until then, Waxahachie I’ll go.

Decent size HEB. They recently expanded the store. I have found that they have the best produce in the area. The store is kept clean the times that I been in there. Also have found that their coffee is cheaper than say Walmart. I saw that they are carrying clothes there now; not sure what kind as I did not check out there selection. I would stay away from there on Sundays as it gets pretty busy. I guess that is when everyone in the area goes grocery shopoing.

Forget this being very nice HEB because it’s just a NICE grocery store regardless of the name and affiliation! The aisles are remarkably clean and fully stocked to the brim. They even have the ultra rare Kauai Coffee Company K-Cups that I am mainly restricted to purchasing online. An impressive thing about this store is the fresh nut, candy and powder section in between Dairy and Frozen Foods. Here, you can fill your own sealed bags of(for example) banana chips, custom trail mix, gummy worms and even protein powder. There’s a new Redbox machine on the Beauty, Bath and Cosmetic side entrance side of the store. This store virtually has everything so visit if you find yourself in Waxahachie at any point.

We love HEB! The expansion has added a lot to make it even better. The prices are inline on most items with the bigger name down the street, they have a huge selection of organic items including organic deli items(that can’t be bought cheaper anywhere else I’ve been), they carry Trader Joe’s, and their store brand is one of the best generics out there. The expansion brought a huge selection of health foods, gourmet sweets and snacks, you can make your own peanut butter in the store, sushi on par with some sushi joints, and they have awesome fresh baked tortillas and breads.

This occurred at the Waxahachie store, but the problem is because of H-E-B corporate policy. I went to our pantry to get a jar of H-E-B Whip(their version of Miracle Whip). It had product running down the sides, air bubbles inside the jar, and the lid was bloated(convex). Obviously, I didn’t use it, as I suspected E. Coli. I went to Waxahachie later that day and took it to the store. They asked for my receipt(which I never keep, but it is their store brand — I couldn’t have purchased it anywhere else, plus I was asking for replacement, not a refund) or driver’s license. Silly me for thinking they’d want to know about a problem that could potentially kill someone. The assistant store director was very cordial, but said it was H-E-B policy to require a receipt or driver’s license on returned or exchanged products. I refused to provide such sensitive info as my driver’s license. She broke the rules(I hope she doesn’t get fired) and told us to get a replacement. There were 2 other defective jars on the shelf. I called H-E-B customer service, who said that was their policy and they were sorry to lose us(over a $ 2 jar of «whip»). Yeah, right. Hello, Kroger & Albertson’s.

We are glad to have an HEB in town to shop at. They have more items than other stores and good prices as well. They make fresh tortillas right where you walk in and they are pretty tasty. We use the pharmacy here also. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.
