Encore Entertainment

I am biased. I loved following Encore shows in Orange County. Rob and Angela were great at choosing song selections to keep the crowd energized.
My only regret is there aren’t more shows in O.C.

I drove 20 miles to check this place out on a Wednesday night, and I was very pleased.
The crowd was predominately a college crowd (probably 75% of the people there were students from Cal State Long Beach), it atmosphere was very energetic and fun.
POSITIVES:
KJ Angela V was training two new KJ’s that night, and she did an EXCELLENT job in taking care of the guests who came to sing and to watch, while also supervising her new recruits. She has a great personality, and her whole crew was clearly in touch with the newer trends for music, fashion, and Pop Culture, and her equipment was state of the art, Pro Audio gear.
The music selection was HUGE, and their modern, digital system allows them to adjust for reverb, echo, key range, and other effects in just a second or two, so each person would sound better immediately.
NEGATIVE:
The bathrooms had water on the floor and no paper towels in them (which had nothing to do with the Karaōke presentation), but otherwise, it was a great experience.
SUMMARY:
If you like Karaōke, Encore provides an excellent environment for having a FANTASTIC time. I can’t really make an evaluation about Yankee Doodle’s of Long Beach (which is where I had my experience with them), because I’d have to come back again and order food with friends, see how things are when the place is packed, etc, before I can render an opinion.

I’m shocked to find I’m the first to review!
I happened to go to Yankee Doodles one night, and Encore was doing the karaōke. I has so much fun! I’ve been following them around Long Beach ever since! The karaōke book is HUGE! And it keeps getting bigger every time I see it! They have prize giveaways for local restaurants, etc., on karaōke nights.
They also have thier karaōke song list on their website so you can see how many songs they have and search for titles…
The website has all info on what nights and where. .. they host almost 7 days a week all over town!
