Pleasantly surprised. The food here is really good, I falsely assumed it would be mediocre, but I actually like it a lot and recommend this place to any one.

This is a great restaurant in Waxahachie. While waiting for your food enjoy complimentary cornbread and rolls w butter. The portions are large and very filling and the prices are great! All meals are definitely under $ 20. My favorite is the tilapia that comes with shrimp and crawfish sauce on a bed of rice. You also get 2 sides with that meal and most other meals. My last visit, I had the catfish that came with fries, jalapeño hush puppies and TWO additional sides. I definitely had to take a Togo box Bc it was so much food. The service is also good, I’ve never had a problem with it.

sat at the bar tonight, had my usual monday nite special… the server (Kristina W) was impeccable and well trained at what she does and easily the best in the house! Management should be proud as tonight was another very satisfying dining experience!

The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. The service is exceptional and courteous. The size of the actual restaurant on the innards is ample, and the cleanliness is certain. The only complaint, which led to 4 stars instead of 5, is the menu rescale. All-​in-​all: you can’t go wrong at Cotton Patch with the Daily Specials.

Waaaaaaay too salty. I couldn’t even taste the food! I only ate half the food and had 8 refills of water. The waitress finally just put the carafe on the table.
