I pulled over at this station after discovering my window wouldn’t go back up. Rain was coming and we had to figure out why it wasn’t working so we pulled over. It’s a small, old station. Not much but it’s convenient and the people were super nice and extremely helpful. I used the pay phone to call BMW and one of the attendants walked out and offered us his cellphone. He then offered to help and found out why the window wasn’t working. He gave us several options but what was amazing was his willingness to help. I can’t remember your name but thank you thank you thank you!!!

It’s expensive. It’s the only gas station in Yosemite if you’re driving from the south(hwy 41). If you don’t fill up in Oakhurst this is your last chance. The attendants are nice.

On a winter trip to Badger Pass in Yosemite I had a problem with my tire chains(actually cables). I had only driven about a block when three of the cross pieces became detached because the parts that hold them to the side cables somehow got bent. I drove down to the service station at Wawona and Mark took them in his shop and fixed them for me– saving the day for my kids who were excited to try snowboarding for the first time. What’s more, he refused to take any money when he could have just told me they weren’t repairable and sold me a new set! That’s old-fashioned service. Their gas is a bit expensive, but given their in-the-park location, that’s to be expected. And the automated pumps are available 24 hrs. with credit/debit cards.
