I travelled to Northeastern PA to visit some long time friends, I saw the ad and drove through the rural roads to find this gem of a shoppe sitting on the corner. I was blown away by the inventory of unique items. I filled my trunk with pottery, Vera Bradley, a stunning stone lamp and Italian pweter pottery. I could not have found Lisa the owner to be more friendly, helpful or knowledgeable. She new the products and the artists and helped me to find I great treasures. I would go out of my way to visit again, hopefully to get back before the end of the year…
I travel about 30 – 40 percent of my time for work, I am always delighted to find a treasure like the Waverly General Store…

I stopped in here briefly last week to pick up some necessities, and the woman who worked there was very rude when I asked for some assistance. I was only driving through the town for a funeral and could not believe how unhelpful and rude she was to me! I do not recommend coming in here for ANYTHING!

While visiting family their ad caught my eye and I decided to take the rather lengthy drive there. The shop is lovely, however… while I was the only customer, the shopkeeper completely ignored me. I shopped around and still no greeting. It was uncomfortable so I made eye contact and said hello… again ignored. It was akward so I decided to check out. I won’t ramble about the details but the lady behind the counter was that hateful I left my items and walked out. I did absolutely nothing to provoke being treated so poorly when clearly I was prepared to spend considerable money. This was 5 months ago and I was so taken aback I still think of it.
