The Dirty Dog American Bar & Grill

Stopped in on our way to the college and Allison was great. The food was awesome and so was the service. It’s a beautiful facility and look forward to coming back when we visit again.

I ate here for lunch as a stop over for a business trip. I got here right when they opened, so it was fairly empty. I ordered my meal and it came out fine. My waitress was great, not super attentive, but did not bug me either as I was on my phone most of the time for work. A great little bar and grill.

This is the third of a mini-​chain of restaurants in the area.
The food is pretty good, but mainly your standard bar fare. They do specialize in spicy food — jalapeño bacon available on most everything.
In my last visit, I had the mango, chipolte, bacon burger. It was delicious. The beer battered fries were also great. The fresh chips were a bit off this time though.
They have a nice selection of specialty beers on tap, but it does leave me wanting.
The service is very friendly. They hustle around when busy and make sure you have a full drink.

Looking on Unilocal for a good place to eat and saw this place. So glad we stopped. They were very busy but very hospitable. Atmosphere was nice and food was AMAZING. Has a nice spicy kick to it. Their Bloody Mary is WOW! We will definitely stop there again.

Ate here on a Tuesday at noon. Took my grandma out for lunch with my dad and we had never been here before. My grandma called it the biker bar but she wanted to try it.
When we walked in we were greeted with some very festive Halloween decorations and a very nice gal told us to go ahead and seed ourselves. The place was really decorated up with lots of Halloween decorations.
We sat in the booth over at the corner by the wall that was painted all with chalkboard paint. There is a cool mural of a haunted house in chalk on the wall.
A nice gal took our order and got us our drinks right away. There were only probably for other tables full with customers. They had three waitresses in one bartender. So they had more than enough staff. To the point where I feel like they just stood around and talked to one another.
I ordered the mushroom Swiss Burger. It comes with wavy chips on the side unless you pay more for a different side. They had some really good side options such as beer battered fries and onion rings. My grandmother got the soup of the day and a side salad. The side salad looked really awesome and even had eggs and veggies on it. My dad got the nacho appetizer as a meal and it was huge. It had all the fixings including taco meat cheese olives jalapenos sour cream and salsa.
My burger was delicious. It was cooked through and very juicy. I would definitely consider eating here again.

Had lunch at the Dirty Dog for the first time this past week. I got the Wild Wrap, and it was the best wrap I have ever had. (Really — no exaggeration!) I rarely ever order the same thing at a restaurant — I like to explore. But I honestly don’t know how I will top that wrap, it was that good.

Very nice atmosphere of restaurant & bar. I’ve eaten there a few times and good was always great! Wait staff is friendly but sometimes slow, never rude. Highly recommend the wild roll ups or quesadillas!

Stopped here in a Saturday night — we are from out of town. The sign says «seat yourself» there were 7 of us and we could only find 2 tables to split us up. The waitress said she would get us a table together or if one opened up to one of our tables, she would pull them together– she totally forgot that, let other people sit– we just sat separate. Bottom line, service is terrible. One table ordered and got their apps ridiculously fast before we even got menus. I had to remind our waitress to bring my water 3 times. We then got our food where our other table still did not have their entrée’s. My waitress forgot my ranch dressing– I told her a didn’t want it and to make sure she didn’t charge me for it– she said she would get me it and I said «fine» — she never brought it. Our other table still never had their meals– bottom line, the waitress forgot to put in the order. I got my check– she CHARGED ME FOR THE RANCH! Made her take it off. Our other table had to get another waitress to take their money becuz theirs was busy leaning on the bar chatting with friends. Food was just ok– burger seemed no bigger or better than a basic fast food chain. Won’t choose here next time in Waverly

Great new place for Waverly. Located in old Godfathers Pizza. Pizza was good and service was great. They were very busy but the service didn’t skip a beat.
