Standard Deluxe

Standard Deluxe is essentially the town of Waverly, AL, not far from Opelika and Auburn. When US 280 was improved some years ago, the town was by passed. This fact is celebrated every year in April at what used to be the Old 280 Boogie and is now known as the Waverly Boogie. Last year was the inception of the Fall Boogie. There is not a better outdoor venue for live music anywhere. Standard Deluxe is a graphic design business run by Scott Peek and does t-​shirts, posters, and virtually any kind of marketing materials you might need. I love my Standard Deluxe tees.
The music has been incredible here. The headliner at the 2013 Fall Boogie was Jason Isbell. The stage has been graced by the likes of Glossary, Charles Bradley, Alabama Shakes, Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, Jim White, Houndmouth, Shovels and Rope, but the real joy of the place is discovering some of the fabulous regional talent you’ll find there regularly. Some of the best days of my musical life have been on the grounds there.

My first order with Standard Deluxe came fourteen years ago. To this day, they are my go-​to for all of my t-​shirt, koozie, poster, and other printing needs. Not only do they take care of top notch printing needs, but they only use American made.
Not enough? They are also one of the coolest venues in the country. Even though it’s a bit off of the beaten path, you will see amazing shows here all year long.
