Another mother-​daughter mani-​pedi date, and honestly not much new to report other than the nail polish selection seems a little more current and a little more organized now.
If you opt to get a design on your toesies, make sure you let the tech know if you have a preference for white or black design, and silver or gold sparkle polish… Mom and I both asked for designs and instead of asking what color or what general style/​design she would like, the lady my mom was with just picked the design herself and the color… neither of which my mom liked! I wish she would have spoken up but she said she was just surprised and really didn’t know what to do. In the past, the techs have asked so she was caught off guard a little, and she felt the tech should have at least checked to make sure she liked the color and design, and I would agree with that.
Overall this isn’t a bad place to go, and the acetone smell isn’t terribly overwhelming… I have been at some places that it is so strong that I have a pounding headache by the time the appointment is over. Prices are reasonable, a mani-​pedi with a design was $ 38, French tips are $ 5 extra, as well as designs.
