Twirly Birds is a small vintage/resale/arty shop tucked away in the Tosa village. And I mean REALLY tucked away. You’d never know it was there since it is down a flight from street level. It’s in the building next to Piccola, just go down the stairs. Check the hours on the website first — very important! They are only open a few days per month. The selection is best described as «girly vintage» with lots of candleholders, jewelry, home items & décor. No clothing though, just a few handbags. The owner does a lot of mosaic work with vintage china pieces. She inlays them into tables, pendants, earrings etc. Very nice and unique. Pricing is good, for the Tosa village. I scored a super awesome serving set, and my sister grabbed a necklace. A cool place to find a unique gift or a little something something for #1. Update: they’ve moved to 64th and North and have regular hours now(10 to 5, Thu to Sun). The space is larger and there’s lots of cool stuff — check them out!
