After years of spending thousands of dollars, I am so disappointed with the people that work there. We took in my wife’s beautiful ring monthly for cleaning, each month it was different. Nothing wrong, two diamonds loose, 4 diamonds loose, nothing wrong, always different. Then the rude(lady) says you should get a new setting. REALLY!. So we have the jeweler check it out, he wants to rebuild it. For $ 450. Was supposed to check out a burr on it. Seems like a scam to get more money. Last time I will ever be in this business… And right now I have 22 rings from them. There loss

Background: I purchased an engagement ring on January 15th, 2014 and proposed in February. I wanted to give it some time before I provided a full review of their service, especially their service after the sale. Basically it comes down to Jason Patterson, store manager. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile finding the perfect diamond for us. The best part was the fact that I was in a few times before I happened to walk through with my(future) fiancé. He played it off like it was the first time I stopped in and even repeated styles and features she liked so I could take mental notes. After I got the ring(which my fiancé loves) the service was still awesome. Any time we stop in Jason greets us by name and continues to help out. Honestly, I could of purchase any diamond and my fiancé would have loved it. The difference was the service and the confidence Jason left me with my decision.

I have been in a constant battle with these yoohoos since I received my engagement ring in January of last year. I have had diamonds fall out of my ring 3x since then. Each time it happens we have to take it back to the store, they tell me it has to be shipped off site and I won’t see it again in 3 weeks. The first time it happened was the day after my fiancé proposed. The second time I had to take the ring back i was 100% ASSURED we would not have this issue again. We are now on the third time(the ring is 15 months old) and needless to say I am slightly miffed at this organization. We purchased our wedding bands from this location as well, figuring it would make things easy to keep the purchases from the same place. I am currently in the process of demanding we be compensated for the bands in full as the problems with the engagement ring has brought us nothing but headaches. The sales people don’t listen to complaints and blow you off when you confront them about what your issue is. They tried to buy us off with a $ 50 giftcard as if we ever plan on spending money there again. These people have yet to see me go full on crazy but god help them when they finally push me to it… I am getting there quickly. Edit: I am returning our wedding bands for the full purchase price and taking our business elsewhere. I can’t handle dealing with this entity so close to our wedding date. Shame it had to come to this. Change ‘United’ to Rogers and Hollands and ‘Guitars’ to diamond rings and you have my anthem for the past year:

UPDATE: Rogers & Holland drops two stars. It would be great if they actually took buyer feedback or listened to customer complaints. It is a shame I purchased my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band here(meaning we have to take it back anytime any work or cleaning needs to be done) — and fell for the«Lifetime Replacement Plan» schtick. Recently, we had to take the engagement ring back because the band lost a bit of luster. We were told by a very«slick» salesman the ring needed to be re-rhodinized, which would cost $ 55. How often does one have to do this to an engagement ring, one might ask? Why, every 12 – 18 months! Sure would have been nice to know before purchasing a ring with that sort of band. Now, I could have investigated a bit further when purchasing, but I think when you drop serious coin on something like a ring which tends to have immense sentimental and«romantic» value, plus paying a lifetime replacement plan fee, that ought to cover things like«re-rhodinzation.» I did my due diligence and shopped around, researching, and getting advice and tips from my older brother and friends who’d been through the process. Ultimately, I feel like I’ve been hoodwinked!(«You dastardly kids — and I would’ve gotten away with it, too!») Onto an update on the service: this store seems incredibly disorganized. I needed to have my wedding ring re-sized. Only issue is that it would be a special exchange due to the material. Ok, I understand. When the salesguy says«just keep your ring and we’ll call you when a new one arrives» and the manager calls two days later to say«no, you need to bring that back in» — that leads one to wonder what in the H-E– double hockey sticks is going on here? Similarly, when you are promised a callback within a week and you finally have to call 10 days later that screams of poor customer service. I called back to find out what the deal was and the manager I spoke with couldn’t find the call ticket — then blamed the other manager and explained she’d have to call back later. You’ve faded fast, Rogers & Hollands. I won’t be purchasing anything else jewelry related from any of your establishments. I’m just kicking myself that we’ll have to go back here for the«free» cleanings every 6 months — no doubt only to be told they need more $ for some unseen issue. What is this, a seedy used car dealership???

Don’t beleive the sales people… they have been sold their company’s basic lines. Shop around and compare prices before buying… they reprice everything upward according to their sales people. Also, the quality of their diamonds were not as good as I was able to obtain from other jewelers. Shop around!
