SOOOO delicious! Perfect macaroons and AMAZING croissants!!! The best I’ve ever had, perfectly buttery, flakey, moist, light & airy! You need these in your life! In love with these gems!

What a cute bakery! I went here by myself twice(it’s always busy on weekends, it seems) and then once with my boyfriend to introduce him to the place. There isn’t too much seating, so take that into consideration if you’re looking to chill with friends. That said, the coffee is good, and of course the pastries are fantastic! I recommend the Raspberry Danish.

Can’t believe I never made it to this place before! –Make sure you check in and get your free macaron, we didn’t realize this until we had already left Came here on a Saturday around 11:30 and the place was pretty packed. Limited amount of seating but people didn’t seem to stick around too long, unless they were having a coffee catch up. Found parking right in front of the store, but there’s public parking next door to the shop. Make sure you check out the menu ahead of time and ask if they have what you want even if it’s not in the case. They continued to replenish the display frequently adding new pastries. Had to get back in line to order a chocolate croissant to go since they added it after we ordered Coffee– nothing spectacular, believe it was a local vendor’s coffee not their own Pop tart– AMAZING! loved the flakiness and the flavor, wasn’t too sweet even though it had sprinkles and icing. The tartness of the strawberry or cherry filling balanced the sugar on top nicely. Breakfast sandwich– shared it with my better half and we sprung getting it on their flaky buttery croissant and added ham as well. WELLWORTHIT! great balance of flavor with the aged cheddar cheese. Their spicy sriracha mayo was barely noticeable but the sandwich was great all the same. Chocolate croissant-so flakey and perfect air pockets, chocolate was not too sweet which is what I love! These croissants will definitely be a staple of my visits Can’t wait to go back to try their macaron and almond croissants!

Easily my favorite place in Tosa. Sandwiches are amazing, especially the breakfast sandwich. I was sad when they changed their menu and got rid of the veggie tartine. The salad they give you with your sandwich is refreshing and delicious, with high quality greens. The savory scones are amazing and unlike anything I’ve had before. The brownies are to die for. .and this is from someone who’s not a big fan of sweets. The bread is amazing. Try Rocket Baby once, and you’ll be hooked.

I have not had a bad experience with Rocket Baby… The bakery I have had there has been just fine. I think the problem is that it was recommended I go there to get my croissants and baguettes since I wanted to get that memory back from Paris of eating them on the subway and around town. Rocket Baby’s croissants are good. Probably some of the best I have around here, but it just isn’t Paris. Maybe if I wear a beret the next time. I will be back to try more of their Bakery. I do recommend them.

Some of the best bread you can get. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I just wish they were closer to my house.

Some of the best breads, treats, and savory muffins in the city! Very very good! Worth the little bit extra money!

My favorite coffee shop in Milwaukee. Surprisingly, I’ve never had any of their baked goods, but their coffee drinks are some of the best I’ve ever had. If I’m craving a straight latte, I’ll travel all the way across the city to Rocket Baby for it. I’ve also noticed that they use special milk meant for boiling. Not sure if it makes a difference, but maybe the hard core coffee aficionados will have some input. I’m also in love with their macaroons — om nom nom. They’re a bit pricey, truth be told; although their listed prices already include tax. Parking can be a pain but you’ll always eventually find something, even if it’s a few blocks away. Beware that they are closed on Mondays! I make this mistake at least once a month. You’d think I’d learn…

I first visited Rocket Baby a couple of times back in July and had mixed experiences — the first time they had an awesome selection of stuff and friendly staff, the second time(a day or two later) almost nothing available and aloof, unhelpful staff. The monkey bread I tried on that visit was stale and disappointing. After that second visit I was hesitant to return but I’m glad I did. Stopped in over the Christmas break and although it was packed with patrons, they bakery was well stocked and the staff cheerful and friendly. Between my husband, daughter and I we tried the almond brioche, croissant and Kouign-amann, which were all incredible. Definitely rivaling the baked goods we enjoyed in France last year Anodyne coffee was also great. We stopped by one more time on this trip and also tried the chocolate bouchon and financier, which were also delicious. Looking forward to visiting again the next time I’m in Wisconsin!

I finally made my way here after far too long. The breakfast sandwich is awesome! be sure to try that. the location is clean neat and the workers are friendly, i cannot get over how busy this place is while i was waiting for my food there was never a downtime, so clearly they are doing something right. the Monkey Bread was also a good choice, i’ll have to come back and try out their other goodies!

Their bake goods were one of the best ones that I had during my stay in Milwaukee. Macaron were okay, they were too sweet for me.

Rocket Baby, I love you. I love all your bakery, from the simple breads to the fancy pastries. I love the tables on the sidewalk. I love the friendly staff. You are the greatest bakery. But Rocket Baby… I’m seeing someone else for coffee. I’m sorry. It’s you, not me. You don’t know how to make a cappuccino or a chai latte. I’ve tried to like them. No foam. Too much scalded milk. You tried, I know. I’ll keep coming for your bakery. Know this, always.

This bakery may not have a fancy name, fancy décor, nor fancy looking pastry — but it really delivers when you get to the thing that matters — the food. The macaroons here are wonderful — very bright, bold flavors with a nice slightly crispy cake texture that complements the fluffy filling. The croissants, both sweet and savory, have a generous amount of butter that lends to a rich tasty, flaky pastry. In general, good flavors and textures from all the items you’ll find at this bakery. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around.

So good! I get the veggie sandwich made into a salad and its divine! The turkey sandwich on multigrain is also delightful. Lots of turkey, cucumbers, avocado, and greens. The macaroons are heavenly. I buy one of each –every time I go. My favorite being the chocolate malt! Yum! Also, adorable place to have lunch by a window.

Macarons! Real ones! French ones! All of them, eat all of them! As soon as I heard they had proper macarons here, I showed up nearly the next day. And lordy me, I was not disappointed. They were perfect, delightful, outstanding, happiness-bringing cookies of love. If you aren’t familiar(Who are you??? Try one, now.), a proper macaron is a puffy sandwich cookie made with almond powder and some witch magic that makes it a little crispy pocket of air(they cannot be made on humid days — it’s true!). The sandwich is filled with buttercream, jam, or pretty much anything you want. The flavor combinations are endless, but it’s the cookie that makes it special. Rocket Baby did them good justice. In case I’ve been unclear, go get some macarons, you will not be sorry.

I was a little disappointed when I first walked in because the selection was more meager than I expected. However, I quickly got over it after a few bites of my delicious sandwich paired with the absolute BEST mocha of my life! I got it iced which I usually hesitate to do(tastes watery) but this was incredible. Fortunately(or unfortunately for my wallet and waistline) I work nearby so I will definitely be back! Additional tips: the parking lot was full, but street parking was available a short walk away. Also, most of the tables inside and outside were empty(11am-12pm on a Wednesday). Closed Mondays.

Rocket Baby is still rocking their corner shop on State St. and making fresh pastries daily. Breads, pastries, lattes, and sandwiches round out their menu. It’s a great lunch place. I especially love their vegetable tartine. It’s chock full of colorful veggies and comes with a Growing Power greens salad. In the warmer months you can snag the tables out front. Parking can be a little cray-cray but they do have a small lot to the left of the building.

This place is great, awesome bakery/bread options. Whenever I see their bread on a restaurant menu I have to get it. Come here twice now for lunch and both times their sandwiches were yummy. Most recent visit was last weekend and I got an egg sandwich and my bf got the Mexican sandwich(name?). Egg sandwich had ham and tomato on it and it was yummy. Eggs were fluffy, ham was thin sliced. My bfs sandwich was great too flavor wise but a little hard to eat. He tried to cut it in half but bc the bread was tough it kinda exploded all over the plate so definitely ask them to cut it for you. We also got my favorite, the chocolate croissant– so buttery and flakey and just delicious. Main watch out here for new comers is it is a bit pricey(I think like 3.50 for a croissant) BUT the quality of food is worth it.

RBB has VERY good pastries and breads. Though I’ve never had a sandwich here, I’ve seen what others have ordered and they look really good. I gladly give RBB four(4) stars for their product. My problem with frequenting RBB is that parking can be a problem during the times I would normally go there; i.e., early morning/drive time. Then, once in the location, the seating availability is minimal. No matter what time of day, you can’t really plan to eat there because of there being so few seats. Just one more problem for me. Of the only two times I was able to find a seat(and enjoy the coffee hot before it cools off), the music playing from the speaker in the front corner of the shop has been so loud, I couldn’t carry on a conversation with my honey. The second time, it just made me crazy! There, in a nutshell, is my conundrum and the reason they get only three stars.
