Lovesac

My wife recently came to me with a suggestion to purchase a Lovesac sofa… I didn’t even know they had furniture — so I figured this was a dumb idea.
She showed me pictures and we decided to go for it. They had 12 mos same as cash financing and we applied online and got approved.
Every single thing about our Lovesac experience was fantastic. From the finance person who gave me her CELL number — to the store manager who gave me her CELL number, to the delivery to the store manager coming to our house to set everything up — was amazing.
Highly recommend this store — the staff — and everything related to it. Great job. So much for the dumb idea — nice suggestion wife. :)

Here’s the thing…
Yes, it is slightly more expensive than a regular couch.
Yes, you probably won’t be changing the fabric covers all that often.
But here’s the ultimate thing…
I freakin’ love my Sactional. It’s perfect for game night or movie night or snuggle on the couch night or friend is sleeping over night or any kind of night. Why? Because I can turn my couch into a deep couch, a long couch, chairs, a bed and
The quality is fantastic — two years later, and there is no slouching cushions to mention. And it is super easy to clean.
Oh — and ask about the floor models. You do get a slight discount on it.
And ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable — the salespeople are super attentive, friendly and patient.
Also, don’t come here if you’re gonna hate on a shiftable furniture or big, ol’ comfy Lovesacs. You probably won’t like it.

Let’s be honest — Lovesac is the store you go into when you need to rest your feet after a few hours of power shopping. That being said — this furniture is ridiculously comfortable. I’ve always wanted a lovesac and after years of contemplating — finally bit the bullet. I have to say that I do love my lovesac but… here’s the issues.
They have all these ‘options’ — but never stock of anything. Their furniture is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. My lovesac was like $ 700. The couches are even more. Why on earth would I pay you 4K for a couch made of a cotton fabric? Because I can take it apart? I’d rather save $ 3K and just buy a pizza for a couple friends to help me move a couch. Because I can change the cover on it? Again — not worth $ 3k to me.
They do have floor model sales but I can’t say that it was that much of a discount. Each base is still $ 300 and then you need to buy each of the sides for $ 150 and THEN buy the cover to go over it. Really adds up.
A few nice things if you do decide to take the plunge: they have great financing and it comes with a pretty awesome warranty — so assuming they’re in business for the next 30 years — you’re covered.

Well I have to say, our purchase was not just a «hey, this would be cool to go into debt for!» transaction. We looked at the store, options and reviews for over a year. What it came down to was the following:
* My wife loves to move things around
* My wife loves things that can be washed when they get dirty.
* My wife loves things built to last (that’s why she married me!)
We ordered in the store and took the Pillow Sac home with us. When we were on vacation, my wife noticed a sale on the website. She called and Megan went over all of the numbers, and we realized we were getting a better deal at the store than online… so go to the store!
Then, we realized that there was a promotion for 36 months interest free (we had gotten the deal for 18. Again, we called, and they were able to switch everything on the phone. This store has outstanding employees that LOVE what they sell. As a result, I and my wife feel good about what we bought.
It’s expensive. You can get a leather couch for ½ of what we paid. (not a great leather couch but it is dead cow!) But you are stuck with one couch… in that color… unless you like spray painted leather, then you’re just sick.
If we want to expand, or change the color, we have options. That’s what I paid for, options and comfort!

Ridiculously overpriced, bad quality, poor customer service. Who would pay $ 2000+ for a couch made in china out of substandard materials?
UPDATE: So my last warranty issue was handled well, unlike all the previous ones (yes there have been a number) perhaps it takes a few years to get things running smoothly? Anyways bumping up a point, but I still rue the fact that I bought such an overpriced couch, and they’ve doubled the prices on everything since I bought mine a couple of years ago.

Some of the comfiest furniture you’re going to find. Originally they only offered their Lovesacs, but in the past few years they’ve expanded to include rockers, sofas and futons. The place is just so alive and happy, but you can sit down and relax.
We didn’t actually buy anything, but the sales people didn’t rush to push us out. It made me want to buy something, but I didn’t have the space or money for anything. That still doesn’t stop me from loving the place and telling everyone to at least go there to experience it, if not to purchase the sacs.
