We got married Sept 2014 and picked Lockers because they had handed out a 15% off coupon at a wedding expo we attended and we had also won a raffle for a free boutonnière for every bouquet we ordered. They were even willing to consider corsages as bouquets so it meant more free boutonnieres! Like most brides, I was looking to keep costs as low as possible without sacrificing quality. We met with Kimberlee and she seemed nice. She did not show us real flowers but showed us a few photos of flowers. I also brought in pictures of what I wanted for my bouquet. We talked with 2 other florists but Lockers came out the cheapest due to our discounts so we decided to go with them. As the date got closer, I went back with my mom to finalize the details. The only flowers we were shown this time were for us to get an idea of color, not the actual flowers(I understand that some of this relates to what is in season). No pictures this time even though we were changing our bouquets from all medium and light purple shades to adding what I thought would be coral and possibly a «pop» of orange. I specifically stated no orchids, no lilies. My mom and walked out and my mom even said, «I’m not sure what they are going to look like, but they sound nice.» At this point, I guess it’s my fault I didn’t hound the florist for more details of EXACTLY which flowers and colors she was going to use. I did not get the changes in writing. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, I was getting ready with the bridesmaids on another floor when someone from our venue said«Oh, the flowers are downstairs, do you want me to bring them up?» I told her of course, because I wanted to take some photos with before the ceremony. I was surprised at this point to learn the florist had already left. I was the one paying the bill, so I would have liked her to check in with me(or the groom or the mothers) personally before she left. Anyway, the flowers came up and I was horrified. There was what I am calling«pepto bismuth» pink and fluorescent orange flowers in the bouquets(in addition to the various shades of purple requested) and not just a pop. To make things worse, coming out the center of my bouquet was a fuscia orchid!(I said NO orchids!!). I was pissed. Thankfully my best friend got on the phone and tried to get a hold of Lockers. It was a nightmare. She talked to 3 different people(she had to call multiple times) and most of them told her they didn’t know what to do. One of them said they would try to send someone but no guarantees. So we went to work. It was probably 30 – 40 mins before the ceremony and we literally started cutting things out of the bouquets. You bet that fuscia orchid went in addition to the overkill of orange flowers. Kimberlee did make it back in time but all they could do was spray the flowers. Most people are horrified about this, but I thought the orange flowers looked better since they were no longer orange and we had cut so many of them out. The other thing to note is that there was a flower in my bouquet that had a large orange colored center that left marks on my dress and my husband’s tux(we were able to get it off with a washcloth, but why would you put anything in a bride’s bouquet that might leave marks on her dress?). Objectively, the flowers weren’t horrendous, they are just not what I felt like we had discussed or what I had shown her my pictures of. In the end, The story continues. We received a $ 30 refund check from renting the pedestals in the mail a couple weeks after the wedding. I didn’t realize until after I endorsed it and brought it to the bank that no one at Lockers had signed it. I was so annoyed! I called Lockers and initially they wanted me to send it back to them. Since that wasn’t convenient for me, I offered to fax it back with the«VOID» written on it. I called a few days later so see if they had received my fax. The following day the manager called me. He wanted to personally apologize because he was the one who had not signed the check initially. He wanted me to know the new signed check was on its way with a gift card. My first thought was«I don’t even know if I’d ever want to use that establishment again for anything.» I asked the manager if I could tell him how the event had gone since I hadn’t reached out to Lockers about everything. He allowed me to explain what had happened. He quietly listened and they repeated back to me what my issues were. He told me was going to look into it and call me back. It’s been almost 3 weeks since that call and I haven’t heard anything back.(I promise to update if this changes) The bottom line: using Lockers is probably fine if you are looking for a basic arrangement or don’t really have a vision of what you what you want your flowers to look like. I wish we had paid more money and gone with one of the other florists who had shown us actual flowers so that we were all on the same page as to what those flowers were going to look like.

I used Kimberlee and her crew for my wedding, and I could not have been happier with my decision. She was the last florist we met with, and, as the old adage goes, we saved the best for last. Everyone else just showed us a book and asked us to pick something out of it. We were working on budget, and I hated typical, overdone wedding flowers. Kimberlee sat down with an open notebook and books of individual flowers and was the first person to talk to me about my vision. I wanted fall-colored, earthy flowers that blended into our venue. I was amazed. She went above and beyond all my expectations and was kind, patient and helpful. She came and set everything and personally pinned on every boutonnière and corsage. There was never the pressure to spend money — she was very respectful of our budget. Loved.

We decided on Locker’s as our florist after meeting with their wedding specialist and being impressed with her willingness to accommodate our requests as well as giving great insight and direction in how to make our ideas and wedding flowers even better. Their service on our wedding day was awesome. They delivered the flowers to the ceremony exactly when they said they would and the bouquets looked really great using multiple flowers ago provide subtle but impressive variations in color and texture to make them pop even more. The centerpieces were delivered and set up at the ceremony beautifully and they did a great job enhancing our reception. I would highly recommend them for any event and were I to have another wedding(which I better not have) I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Locker’s is amazing. Exceptional quality not only in their flowers, but with the artistry behind each item that is created. If you want something fresh, new, unique, outside the box or even if you’d like something more traditional you will not be led astray. I needed a corsage made AND delivered with in 1.5 hours and Kim and her crew came through! Did I mention extraordinary, personalized service!
