I always love Eddies. It’s one of my favorite places for a nice meal; always delivers! The piccata they offer at lunch is to die for imo. I wish they served that for dinner! We always love going there particularly in the summer when you can sit outside. Highly recommend.

Spent over $ 300 for three people. Had their tomahawk steak. It was not tender considering how expensive it was and having it medium cooked. My siblings ordered filet and rib eye. They liked it. Service was on point. Just don’t know what happened with the steak I got… most expensive one on the menu. I could cook a better steak… Seafood cocktail was entertaining to eat. I won’t go again. I’ll try out the other steakhouses in Milwaukee

Totally overpriced… If you have an expense account didn’t want to waste your companies money I would say go but I’ve been there a half dozen times for special occasions someone else’s pick my treat and I always have to shake my head at why anybody would pay nearly $ 40 for a 6 ounce steak… $ 15 for a martini that’s not even full… And half of the specials you never even are told the price… Once the seafood martini platter was ordered and I was told it was over $ 200… I’ll stick with butler in for my steaks and Elsas for my martinis!

The local newspaper critic seems to continue the trend of not listing this is one of the best restaurants in town. Just ignore her arrogant ineptitude and enjoy your meal and attentive service.

Fantastic!!! We sat at a high top in the bar, but still had a white table cloth and that type service. No TVs, but the game of the night was not worth watching anyway. Love the rat pack style, wood everywhere atmosphere. However, David, our sever/bartender was plenty of entertainment. He kept us laughing and suggested a fabulous bottle of wine. Our steaks were cooked to order and the mushrooms were better than I expected, because I’m not an onion fan. They were busy, but not overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner out.

The crab cakes were my choice for an app and was pleased to have it paired with 2 slices of bacon. I had the NY steak strip and enjoyed it! Flavorwise it was good, but wish it came with some blue cheese or other sauce. The potatoes that came as a side were also pretty good but needed more butter(i love potatoes so I am picky, not the restaurants wrong doing) and also was offered lobster bisque soup. The soup was delicious :) I dressed nice and was a bit turned off to see several people walking around in jeans. As other reviews claim, the staff are very professional-just wished we didnt need to wait 15 minutes to see the menu, server did apologize. Pro-they had fresh, hot bread with a tasty spread :) Plates were also piping hot-thank you, I am slower diner and enjoy having my entrée stay warm for more than 15 minutes. Those are nice details the restaurant pays attention to-surprisingly many other«finer dining» establishments do not offer fresh bread and even have their bread made elsewhere! Also had the chocolate cake-thanks for pairing with raspberries :)

Having grown up with the supper club crowd I trully enjoy this place. Servers with white jackets, cocktails before dinner, an anchovies on my ceaser salad, what more could you ask for. Finished dinner, 8oz. filet, I am checking out now.

A great place when other people are treating you for dinner. Lunch is more affordable. Anyway, have been her more than 10 times, but finally reviewing. Cannot go wrong with one of their broiled steaks– filet is the best(especially when they have the bone in special), ribeye is usually a miss. Can’t go wrong with seafood either-salmon, crab legs when in, and scallops all divine. For dessert– choc Avalanche cake will meet any chocoholics need or go for the bread pudding if you need a different sweet. Cocktails are always prepared to your liking– great place for a brandy old fashion in the winter or a Tom Collins in the summer. Wine list is plentiful as well. Enjoy!

Again. A fantastic place. I took my family there the Friday after thanksgiving… we had the private room. Wow! The chef made a special meal for two of my nieces… asking what they like and don’t like. Turned out wonderfully. Been there twice more. We love to sit in the bar area. Same food and great service. If you need something, just ask! I had surgery and had trouble swallowing, the chef took care of me. Dave the bartender is the best and Shannon the server is out of this world. This is our favorite Milwaukee fine dining place.

Eddie Martini’s is such a staple in Milwaukee! Their professionalism, atmosphere, and environment is such a pleasure. Whether stopping for a delicious pomegranate martini, burger at lunch, or amazing dinner date, this is the place to go! The staff is very friendly yet extremely professional. Highly recommend Eddie’s for any special occasion, lunch or dinner date, or for a drink with friends. One of the best!

If you’re under the age of 40, you probably shouldn’t bother. Visited Eddie Martini’s last night for after dinner drinks and dessert and was appalled by the extreme lack of professionalism in the management department. We used a gift card and were quoted a balance prior to ordering. Mysteriously, when it came time for the bill, there was a sudden unmentioned«error» that caused our gift card to be worth only HALF of what we were originally told. When we requested the original amount, the manager made us feel like juvenile delinquents that were trying to «pull a fast one» on such a fine establishment. Not a good look when a place such as Eddie Martini’s feels it appropriate to argue with patrons… especially over THEIROWNERROR. Guess they’re really hard up for the money these days. Don’t worry, Eddie Martini’s, we will take our business elsewhere.

The stars primarily reflect the ambience and service. I found the food underwhelming in spite of the local perception of this restaurant. I think for the average palette of this area; it is just fine. If you’re looking for a higher calibre of steak, there are better places in town that are commensurate with the price.

Amazing and flavorful steaks. The onion ring on top takes it to the next level. I highly recommend the brussels sprouts, they are delicious. The service is always amazing. Even though I don’t live in Milwaukee, I try to stop in at least once while I’m in town and they always remember me and what I like.

The food was worth every penny! And the service was impeccable! It doesn’t get better than that. The ambience was old school classy! Loved it! The music was great the soft comfy chairs — it all transports you to a different era. Great spot for a special occasion or if you’re in the mood for a great steak!

Celebrated on 18 anniversary dinner there as we always do! Cocktails at the bar then seated. Had the Ocean Martini excellent as always! Lobster Bisque exquisite. Halibut was the signature special awesome. Husband had bone in ribeye. Ended evening with a complimentary chocolate mousse. We have celebrated 16 of our 18 years there! Love it!

If it were based on food alone, I would give the food a 4.5! The vibe is good and cute location. However, I had a semi private room w a minimum for my group of 8 and while I knew we had to meet the dollar amount, I assumed we were at it or close to it by meal’s end. When we got the bill, the waiter just charged us the unmet difference instead of at least letting us know that we still had 500 dollars to spend! I would have gotten more dessert or some bottles of wine or something! I was furious that they didn’t even give me a heads up! I’ve done many dinners where this happened and I’ve always been warned so that there isn’t just a charge of a crazy amount on my receipt for unmet minimum! I’m really disappointed that they didn’t handle this differently and in a more professional matter. For that reason, I will not bring my clients there again.

This restaurant is old school. Like waiters in suits with napkins on their arms, shrimp cocktail served over ice in a frosted martini glass, wood-paneling for walls kinda old school. When you walk in it even smells old school — kinda like a musty carpet(but somehow in the best possible way?) This is the kinda place you go when you wanna impress someone. Or just get ridiculously drunk on authentic brandy old fashioned sweets. Or do both. I vote both. I came here with my dad when he was in town. I’m at that awkward age where dining with my dad alone often gives curious glances and the waitress definitely thought he was my sugar daddy until I loudly called him dad and talked about my grandma(purposefully and loudly while the waitress was in ear shot). Service was flawless and struck the perfect balance between being available without being overbearing. I had the filet mignon. It was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and accompanied with a perfectly fried onion ring. Did I say perfect enough times yet? The scallops here were among the best I’ve ever tried. I even loved the house salad, which was accompanied by a homemade blue cheese dressing, candied pecans, and freshly cracked black pepper. Yum!

Excellent, as it always has been. Bourbon Sidecars were expertly made. Duck breast appetizer was perfectly prepared. Seared sea scallops were large and succulent, with the corn hash as a lovely accompaniment. Even though I was very full, I couldn’t turn down the bread pudding for dessert. Perfect meal to celebrate my birthday.

Eddie Martini’s is a nice place with good food. The service is impeccable and you really feel taken care of. Their baked burgundy onion soup is amazing. One of the best I’ve had(up there with Coquette Café’s). I got the lump crab cakes salad with a tarragon dressing and it was pretty good. The crab cakes were tasty but the salad and dressing as a whole was a little bland — I added some salt. My friends really liked the beef stroganoff and the portion was a nice big size for leftovers the next day. Eddie’s also has great desserts. Try the chocolate cake but keep in mind it’s big enough to share with like five people!

This place holds a special spot in my food-loving heart. I have been coming here for several years for special occasions and it never disappoints. It actually keeps raising the bar each trip. The parking lot is on the smaller end but you can easily find street parking. When you walk in you are greeted by the hostess that will take any of your coats or belongings you don’t want to bring to your table. If you’re waiting for guests, take a seat at the amazing bar. The bartender can mix up some of the best cocktails in the city. The cocktail list changes regularly yet speak with him on what you like and don’t like — he will be able to make an off-the-menu item that will absolutely hit the spot. This is one of my favorite things to do is to get there early to enjoy a cocktail or two. After you indulged at the bar, you will be seated in either the front two tables or one of the 10 or so tables in the back area. The service is top notch along that of any other very fine dining in the city. You will have the bread person, water and drink waiter, and your main waiter — it does get a little intense since it is a smaller place and you constantly have staff around you taking care of any and all of your needs. The selection of steaks changes daily depending on what they were able to get but all of the meat will be very fresh for this reason. The fish is also very fresh here yet I stick with the steaks when I am here. This is the only place I’ve seen a Tomahawk style steak(see my picture) that has the whole bone attached to it for a special one of the times I was there. They hav ea wide variety of cuts, sauces, and finishes on the steaks. The soups and appetizers you can’t go wrong with, enjoy an amazing steak, and the deserts are also a can’t miss part of the experience — then walk out and enjoy the rest of your day at one of the best places in the area. Definitely make a special trip out here to enjoy a special night.
