What Is It: The Chile Colorado is ground up steak flavoured with red chili and served with three sofyt shells. Fried ice cream is just that served with chocolate sauce and on a pie crust type of thing.
Presentation: Both are served on authentic Fiesta plates which is cool. The food looks delicious as well so perfect here.

Taste: The Chile Colorado reminds me of a Mexican version of a Sloppy Joe. That’s not a bad thing at all as the steak was delicious with the red chili sauce giving it a great, slow burn. This was my first time trying fried ice cream and this was a great first impression. The coating from the frying of the ice cream really added great flavour to it. The rest of the toppings and crust really complemented it well. Delicious main course and dessert.

The service was okay they were busy but will give them a brake on that just over all was not happy.

Great place to get authentic Mexican food. Any of the Shrimp dishes are fantastic. My 4 kids always want to go here. Great salsa & chips.

Coming from the UK, I’m no expert when it comes to mexican food, but I went here with students from Columbia and Bolivia and an American friend and we all loved this restaurant!
I had la piña, a fresh pineapple full of shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables and I can easily say that it was the best Mexican food I have ever had. My friend had the chilli rellanos and said it was average, and the students had number 61 (we can’t remember the name!?) and really enjoyed it. They said the best Mexican that they’ve had in the USA.
Chips and salsa were great too!
The service was excellent, very friendly. If you speak Spanish they’ll love it.
Décor was a bit tired, only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. Would be 4.5 if I could.

We were passing through on the interstate and needed a late lunch break. Saw all the 4 star reviews and thought this would be a great find. It is true the staff was very friendly and the service is fast. The food, however, was another story, and ultimately not worth stopping for. We had two lunch specials that included tacos, beans, quesadillas, and an enchilada. All ingredients tasted bland and out of a can or made with a mix. This did not seem like authentic fresh Mexican food. We would’ve been better off stopping at subway for a sandwich. Maybe we were there on an off day with a bad cook?

Came in for lunch because of the positive reviews I saw & there were a good amount of cars in the parking lot. Chips were warm, cris and plentiful. Also gave me plenty of Salsa and both were tasty. I ordered the 3 Enchilada lunch special $ 8 and pop was $ 2. I chose 2 chicken and 1 beef. Both were really good and we’re served on authentic corn tortillas. Came with a little guacamole, sour cream, rice and beans. All good. Food was hot, salsa was the right temp. They weren’t very busy, but the service was excellent. Overall I would recommend Los Mariachis. Very Good Mexican restaurant.

Nicely decorated, good food, good prices, what more could you ask. Great place for Mexican food.
