Believe nothing on their site. I’ve had this device for over 2 years now. They’re slow to respond to any calls for distress, if they call back at all. They’re the last to know about changes made by the dot. So they cannot even train their staff quickly enough to know what expectations to set for their clients. They rarely answer the phone but email you telling you to call in for what you are attempting to accomplish. Had my car at a mechanic and the car battery died. They wouldn’t even give the mechanic info on how to unlock the handset so they could work on my car. Then reply to my emails for help telling me to call their Corp office and choose tech support. But NOONEANSWERS. So you leave a voice message never to hear back from anyone. Be prepared to hear, «There’s nothing we can do.» for every question. And nobody will ever remember talking to you either. This business should be ashamed of themselves for claiming such responsibility to their client’s when it is clear they don’t care.

If I had to choose again, I would most certainly not install this device in my car. They will charge you fees for whatever reason possible, not to mention the fact that it is already one of the most expensive options if you have to have an interlock device in your vehicle. The only reason I selected this device in the first place was that the handset was detachable for the cold months to minimize warmup time. Turns out there is a defect so the state will no longer allow you to disconnect the handset. Also, this device is a huge drain on your battery. I travel for work and even when i don’t I tend to drive as little as possible. The device will kill your battery. I actually had to replace my battery because it was not able to charge anymore. I put it a $ 200 gel battery thinking this would help the problem. It killed that one within a year. On top of that, they charge you $ 50 everytime their device drains your battery; some racket they have. If you can’t get your car into the shop to get«reset» after your battery is dead, then you have to pay another fee just to start the car. On top of that, all of this caused me to be late getting the vehicle back for recalibration. I called to pay on the phone and was told that even if I make my payment I would still be charged a late fee at the shop. I advise anyone to not put this device in your car. Shop around.
