NOT A GOODEXPERIENCE!!! Bought the groupon for $ 143 for bilateral deal and ended up with a bill over $ 300 that was mailed to my home nine months later! All I wanted was saline injections for the tiny spider veins on my shins. Instead the RN and the doctor tried to up-sell by recommending an ultrasound and then these alleged medical professionals push the vein stripping procedures. I did not take them up on the more serious procedures and asked for the saline injections. They said they could do that too. But they did not. The biggest rub is that they did not deduct the value of the groupon from the bill, which means that THEYDIDNOTHONORTHEGROUPON! Cannot trust a business that treats patients like this: recommending unnecessary procedures, not giving the patient what they had asked for, not honoring the groupon, and then billing nine months after the date of service.

I was committed to not reviewing my poor experience with this business until last week I finally reached my last straw. I received a letter in the mail stating my account **which was paid in full** from an April 2013 procedure-was going to be sent to collections for the full original amount unless I provided proof that it was paid in full. I proceeded to spend 2 hours(again this procedure took place 1.5 yrs ago) researching old files, bank and credit card statements before coming up with the proof that this was paid in full. I called on a Thursday, was told I would get a call back Friday. They did not call Friday. I called again on Monday, and spoke with someone who apologized, and that due to staff changes and billing changes they had lost my payment records! She was apologetic, and did send me in writing a zero balance that same day, to her great credit. A few other facts of my specific experience: –No follow up appointment was scheduled prior to my procedure. I found out several months later when I called to ask about some skin staining I had, that I was supposed to be in at regular intervals after my procedure. I had no idea, received no follow up calls. When I finally went in, I was told that information was in my packet. If I was supposed to come in a few days after the procedure, wouldn’t it make sense to schedule that before sedating me for the procedure? –When I went for a follow up, they said they’d mail me samples of a leach saliva cream to help with the skin staining I had. Nothing was ever mailed. –When I went in, I must say, the ultra sound tech, Trudy, was always very professional and very nice to work with. –I went to this location based on a Living Social deal. I was told it would be honored after the expiration date. My insurance paid in full for the procedure. They ended up only able to honor $ 125(for something my insurance did not cover) of the $ 200 I had actually paid for the Living Social deal. Net loss to me of $ 75. Of course the results are not guaranteed, and the faulty vein is closed down, so the progressive portion of the issue is resolved. The cosmetic portion of the issue is another story. One of the nurses had kept after me about getting my other leg done, but all I could think was after this experience there is NOWAY I’d do it here.

Really excellent medical attention. I purchased a Groupon for xeomin, and the doctor and the physician’s assistant(Nancy) were both excellent. Probably the best consultation that I have ever had for botox-like injections. Their attention to patients’ needs is so much above the typical injection shop that I will be going back to Vena regularly for injection/filler needs.(Their front desk staff was a little scattered, but what matters is the medical side of the practice.)
