First of all, the restaurant is no longer located on sunset, it’s on Broadway. The building has a long standing history of diners that, truthfully, don’t last. I have been here 4 times now and each experience has been entirely different. I absolutely prefer breakfast dishes to dinner because it’s more consistent. Today we had fish fry for the first time, and it was quite disappointing. Since they offer«all you can eat» options it seems that they make a bunch, pile them on top of each other, and leave them under a heat lamp. Needless to say, the pieces were quite soggy. On the flip side, my brother orders their breakfast pork chop dish and it was good, seasoned well and cooked well. Honestly, this place might be suffering from the inconsistencies because of the size of the menu. Seriously, if the scales it back a bit, it could be a real solid place.

I absolutely loved it, I tried tried the chicken parmesan and I was absolutely in love. The quality was better then Olive Garden and it was a huge portion

Ok I know the owners moved to the Broadway café and honestly I’m glad they are continuing to serve is here in the city regardless of their location. The staff is awesome and the food is amazing… please whatever you pay your chefs be sure to bump them up a bit because everytime I’ve eaten here has been a wonderful experience… tip your servers well and make sure to tell your server to compliment the chef because these people know what they are doing… good move to a bigger place on Broadway, keep up the good work!

We ate at the Broadway Café and on our way out my wife saw that they were owned by the Spot owners now. Well, my review was done under Broadway Café. I don’t really know why they sold, it wasn’t too bad at the Broadway Café. But our first visit to the new Spot, we will NOT be back. The portions of food went down, ridiculously and the prices went up. The server was a joke. I asked her if one dish was good, she said. «it’s ok». I asked, so is this better. she said, «just ok». Really? So, when I paid my bill the lady took my money and asked how everything was. I said«it was just ok». she replied, GREAT! Thanks for coming in! LOL. This place is clueless, has terrible food and will not survive. Avoid at all costs. Not worth your time! NOTE: this review is for the new Spot on Broadway.

Update: The Spot is moving, the owner bought the Broadway Café(which had excellent food). The guys who had The Spot couldn’t keep that small place clean or produce edible food. I shudder to think what they will do with the new place. The former location is becoming a restaurant called«Phở King» No funny comment needed, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel, too easy.

Tried Breakfast twice in the past few weeks. Servers seem pleasant and attentive. Agree with other reviewer that they seemed relieved to not get a complaint. Each time I thought it not worth the complaint. They must have thought it was servable. Cleanliness is lacking in the front of the house so I can only imagine what the back of the house looks like. Afraid my suspicions were validated by the EXPLOSIVEDIARRHEA. SORRY I CANNOTRISKRETURNINGAGAIN, NOBODYCOULDLIVETHROUGHTHATEXPERIENCETWICE.
